She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 253

During this stretch of time, Sabrina lived a predictably repetitive routine—work, Jocelyn’s place, and the Sutton family estate. Sometimes, she’d check in on the apartment she’d bought for herself, but there was little variation.

Meanwhile, Celine continued to quietly sabotage Hester at every turn. Hester was having a rough time. She was plagued by the constant fear that her secrets would be exposed. Marshall was ignoring her completely, so she showed up at his office, waiting for him. His response was cold and ruthless: if she harassed him again, the intimate video of her and Hector would find its way online. Worse still, there were other tapes—footage of her wild nights with some thugs. All of it would be leaked.

Panic took over. She was terrified. Proud and elegant as she was, Hester couldn’t bear the thought of such disgraceful things becoming public. She had no idea who had recorded those videos. That night, after leaving the bar, she’d clearly been drugged—someone had spiked her drink beforehand. Was it Hector? No, impossible. She understood Hector’s character too well; he’d never stoop so low. Besides, she’d just seen him yesterday, and he had no reason to set her up.

So who was it? Whoever was behind this clearly wanted to destroy her. The videos had been sent to Marshall, not to her, so it wasn’t for blackmail. Then—

A sudden thought flashed through her mind. Who stood to gain the most from her ruin?

“It’s her!” Hester gasped, covering her mouth in shock.

At first, she’d suspected Sabrina—her presence did pose a threat to Sabrina’s standing in the Sutton family. But after spending time with her, Hester realized Sabrina didn’t care much about her status as the Sutton heiress or the affections of Desmond and Sommer. Sabrina was hardly ever home, always out early and back late, her days a mystery.

If Sabrina wasn’t interested in her status within the family, that left only Celine. Celine had already discovered Hester’s affair with Marshall, yet had kept silent—luring her, step by step, into a trap, then destroying her.

What a vicious scheme.

Furious, Hester punched her pillow. Luckily, she hadn’t been back in Port City long, and her social circles were simple. It hadn’t taken much effort to identify her real enemy.

Celine, just wait. I will make you pay.

By afternoon, the clouds began to lift. The sun peeked out cautiously from behind them. The storm had passed, and the sky was bright and clear once more.

The next morning, July 10th.

The day of the party had arrived. Port City’s social elite were out in force, driving their luxury cars toward the Sutton family’s grand estate.

Sabrina sat at her vanity, staring at her reflection. She was wearing a simple, natural makeup—subtle, almost ethereal. For a brief moment, she felt disoriented. It was the first time she’d really looked at herself at seventeen. The face in the mirror seemed softer, younger, not quite matching the one fixed in her memory.

She closed her eyes. In her mind, she saw a sea of wildflowers—every blossom opening just for her.
