She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 266

Suddenly, the room was thrown into chaos by a burst of jarring images and sounds that made everyone blush and their hearts race.

Everyone froze in shock.

What the hell?!

The Sutton family’s daughter was completely out of control!

Desmond was the first to recover, barking orders to get the screen shut off immediately.

His dignity as patriarch had never taken such a blow.

At the very back of the hall, Octavia, supported on either side by Marina and Stella, shuffled forward on unsteady legs.

The moment Octavia saw what was happening, her knees buckled, and she nearly fainted on the spot.

Stella sprang into action, pressing her fingers to a pressure point on Octavia’s wrist to steady her.

As a doctor, Stella’s instinct was to help, but Sabrina’s warning echoed in her mind: “No matter what happens tonight, make sure Grandma gets through this. As for the others, there are plenty of doctors.”

Even if she wanted to intervene, there was little Stella could do—she hadn’t brought her medical kit and was powerless to save anyone here.

Stella kept her hand pressed to Octavia’s pressure point.

Octavia didn’t pass out, but she looked ghastly—her lips pale, chest heaving, gasping for breath, unable to say a word.

Clearly, the shock was too much for her.

When her eyes drifted back to the images on screen, the old woman nearly keeled over for good!

Octavia reeled from the fresh wave of humiliation. Still, she forced herself to stay upright.

Nothing could happen to the Sutton family tonight.

Meanwhile, Celine was in full-blown panic.

Hadn’t that video been deleted?

She’d originally planned to expose Hester’s video at the party, to ruin her reputation in front of everyone.

She’d been furious the day her mom announced plans to adopt Hester—having Sabrina around was headache enough, but another adopted daughter would drive her mad.

Plus, the way her mother treated Hester was different from how she’d treated Sabrina.

That sense of crisis had made Celine desperate.

If she exposed the video at the party, maybe her parents would drop the idea of adopting Hester. Hester would have no reason to stay with the Suttons.

But then everything had gone sideways.

After Hester was attacked with acid, Celine had deleted the video. There was no way it should have appeared on that screen.

At that moment, Sabrina was quietly seated in the garden, enjoying the cool evening breeze.

One hand propped up her chin, while the index finger of the other tapped idly against the tabletop.

Bryce emerged from behind her and sat down across the table, curiosity in his voice. “Aren’t you going back inside to see what’s happening?”

Sabrina shot him a sidelong glance, her eyes deep and unreadable.

“Why are you out here? You should get back inside before someone starts asking questions,” she replied, ignoring his original question.

Bryce looked at the calm girl before him. He’d never seen her flustered or afraid—not even now.

“What’s there to be afraid of? Who would dare question me?” He grinned sheepishly, running a hand through his hair.

Neither of them noticed the shadow lurking nearby.

In a dimly lit corner, Shawn’s gaze was fixed on Sabrina.

He’d followed her out of the ballroom and noticed that she hadn’t smiled once during the festivities.

She’d stayed here the entire time, quietly taking in the evening.

From his vantage point in the shadows, Shawn’s eyes never left her—watching, searching, protecting, perhaps even comforting her from afar.
