She’s Back, and Hell’s Coming with Her novel Chapter 317

Hester let out a terrified scream, her voice echoing through the basement.

“No, please—don’t! Don’t do this!”

“Sabrina, I’ve never done anything to you! Why are you treating me like this? I’ve already been thrown out of the Sutton family, lost my grandmother’s protection—what more do you want from me?

Why do you insist on destroying me completely? I don’t want to die, I—”

Her hysterical cries filled the entire room.

Suddenly, she felt the grip on her hair loosen.

Desperate, she shoved the water tub away with all her remaining strength and staggered back a few steps.

She barely managed to steady herself before instinctively looking up—just as a heavy boot slammed into her chest, sending her sprawling backwards into the tub of water.

She went under completely, panic surging as she tried to stand, sputtering and screaming, “This is murder! Sabrina, you can’t do this, somebody help! Help me—!”

Her voice grew hoarse, her cries turning more desperate with every second.

All the while, Sabrina simply stood there, watching her struggle with cold detachment.

Compared to their icy calm, Hester’s panic was absolute.

She knew exactly what Sabrina was capable of—ruthless, merciless.

Sabrina gave a mocking little laugh, her tone laced with scorn. “No grudge? I have to hand it to you, Hester, you do know how to spin a story.

You and Hector plotted together—you tried to have me killed in Glenwood, tried to keep me from ever making it back to Port City.

You forced my grandmother to sign over her shares, even lied to her face and claimed you’d killed Wallace.

You threatened to wipe out the entire Sutton family...

You’re poison, Hester. I’m not as forgiving as my grandmother. You were ready to take my life—why would I ever let you go?”

By now, Hester’s throat was raw from screaming. She had no strength left to cry out.

Dragged here by Cliff, whipped and injured, she’d barely escaped from the warehouse and had been running for her life ever since. She was already exhausted.

Even the fear of drowning barely managed to spark what little energy she had left.

“Hector convinced his father to work with the Suttons. That way, his dad would take me to Glenwood for the partnership talks.

But one of the Watsons’ conditions was that his dad had to bring you along to Glenwood.

Hector had already tried to hurt you once in Veridia, but he failed.

He was afraid the police would come after him, so he tricked you into going to Glenwood instead.

Once you were there, you’d be on his turf. Killing you would’ve been easy.

His father didn’t know any of this—so Hector bribed the pilot who was supposed to fly you back.

But you never got on the Watsons’ private jet. That’s the only reason you survived...”

Finished, Hester collapsed against the edge of the tub, utterly spent.

Sabrina had already suspected Hector was behind it all. That trip to Glenwood had felt wrong from the start.

She just hadn’t realized how close Hester and Hector had been all along.
