Chapter 1135
Jamie’s voice was filled with restrained anger. “She never should have done that to Johanna. No matter what happens, if I ever get the chance, I’ll make her pay for it, a hundred fold.”
Silas had agreed to cooperate with Jamie only to dig up some dirt on Sharon, something that could destroy her reputation completely. But now, watching the situation spiral, he frowned and warned sharply,
“Jamie, don’t act recklessly. No matter what she’s done, Sharon is still part of the Kalen family. Your behavior last time already angered my dad and most of the Kalen Group’s shareholders. If you dare lay another finger on her, Victoria will never forgive you.”
Jamie was a madman. Bringing up Victoria’s name was the only way to restrain him. After all, what Silas wanted was Sharon’s shares, not her life.
He exhaled, frustrated. “You could’ve just scared her a little when you kidnapped her. Why did you have to ruin her hand? She can’t play the violin anymore, so now she’s come after the Kalen Group, competing with Victoria for resources.
“If she could still play, let her! Victoria was even willing to use her as a stepping stone to rise higher. But think about what you did. Were you helping Victoria take revenge, or just making things worse for her?”
At first, even with her inherited original shares, the Kalen family hadn’t seen Sharon as a real threat. She’d grown up immersed in music and art, never once touching the world of business.
Victoria, on the other hand, hadn’t been allowed into Kalen Group initially, but she’d been studying privately for years—finance, strategy, corporate law.
Next to her, Sharon was a naïve outsider, harmless and easy to dismiss.
Even when she officially entered the Kalen Group some months ago, the family merely found her troublesome, not dangerous.
That is -until she acquired Silverstone Group’s shares.
Only then did they realize how badly they’d underestimated her.
They couldn’t let her keep growing stronger.
But stopping her was one thing-killing her or letting Jamie harm her again was another. After all, she was still their sister, bound by blood.
Jamie’s eyes flashed cold, though he didn’t argue.
He hadn’t meant to destroy her life completely-just to clear the path for Victoria and teach Sharon a lesson she’d never forget.
But instead of retreating, she’d risen from the ashes and declared war. She’d walked straight into the Kalen Group and begun competing with Victoria head-on.
Jamie’s tone cooled. “Now that we’ve confirmed Julliard’s involvement, things will be simpler. If Carter decides to back him, we’ll deal with them both-and in the process, cut off one of Sharon’s strongest allies.”

The two men sat in the office, plotting how to strike at Julliard and Carter.
What neither of them expected was that the first to come to Julliard’s aid was Sharon.
Silas was so thrilled he could barely sleep. He called Jamie in the middle of the night, his voice brimming with excitement.
