Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 188

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 188: Hunting on Planet A3**

“I promise I’ll find you the perfect wedding gift as soon as we’re back from Planet A3,” Emma declared with a smile, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.

Aria had been eagerly anticipating those very words.

“Can I choose the gift myself, Emma? I really want to eat the cake you made for Her Majesty the other day!” she exclaimed, her voice brimming with excitement.

The memory of that birthday cake lingered sweetly in her mind, a delightful echo of flavors that she couldn’t shake off since that joyous celebration for her mother. Yet, a twinge of guilt gnawed at her; she didn’t want to burden Emma with the request to recreate it.

“Not a problem at all! I’ll whip up two portions just for you,” Emma replied, her tone warm and inviting. “And I’ll even add some pastries to the mix!”

“You’re the best, Emma!” Aria beamed, wrapping her arms around Emma’s arm in a heartfelt embrace. “From this moment on, I swear I’ll treat you like my real sister! I’ll be your most devoted and obedient sister ever!”

As their conversation flowed, Edric diligently completed the necessary paperwork, his brow furrowed in concentration. Once finished, he dispatched Corvin to inform Emma that they were ready to set off at any moment.

In the meantime, Malrik had finally returned to the Central Planet, only to find out that Emma had departed an hour earlier, taking a private starrail to hunt beasts on Planet A3.

A subordinate, standing nearby, hesitantly inquired, “What are your orders now, Your Majesty?”

The dark circles under Malrik’s eyes betrayed his fatigue. He had journeyed for days, pushing himself to the limit without rest, all to arrive back here in haste.

But now, Emma was already gone, racing toward her destination.

He bit down on his dry lips, lost in thought, his expression shifting like the tides, revealing the turmoil within him.

Despite having sent her messages over the past two days, her replies had been scant and curt: ‘Got it.’

She must still be upset about what transpired with Merlin…

I can imagine her ignoring me even if I rushed to see her right now.

I need to devise a plan…

“Let’s head to Planet A3,” he commanded, determination igniting within him.

First things first, I must see her.

Planet A3.

Deep within the forest, the ground quaked violently.

A tremendous force surged through the trees, snapping ancient trunks like twigs as a monstrous beast barreled through the thicket, its crimson eyes alight with primal hunger. It resembled a gargantuan pangolin, its body armored with glistening obsidian scales.

With each thunderous step, its sharp claws sent dirt and stones spiraling into the air, leaving a trail of withered plants in its wake, as if they were corroded by some unseen force of decay.

“Roar!”

The beast threw back its head and howled, a sound so powerful that it sent leaves cascading from the branches above like confetti in a storm.

Suddenly, the sky darkened with swirling thunderclouds. A brilliant bolt of lightning split the heavens, illuminating the scene with a blinding flash.

Boom!

The lightning struck the ground just before the beast, fissures cracking open in the earth, smoking and scorched.

Amidst the dust and chaos, a lithe figure descended. Emma, clad in a sleek black combat suit, landed gracefully on the beast’s massive head. Lightning danced around her fingers, morphing into a long blade that she plunged directly into the creature’s skull.

With a swift motion, she extracted a vibrant orange Rank 6 beast core.
