Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 189

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 189: The Pink Little Bunny**

“Let’s find a place to rest for the night,” Corvin suggested, his voice filled with enthusiasm. The forest loomed around them, dark and mysterious, but the camaraderie among the group provided a comforting warmth.

“I just checked the surroundings,” Edric chimed in, his brow furrowed in concentration. “Aria and the others appear to be wrapping up their tasks as well.”

Emma nodded, her mind already racing ahead. “Let’s call Aria over. We need to locate a suitable clearing to set up camp for the night.” The shadows deepened around them, and the thought of returning to the city, only to turn back around in the morning, felt increasingly impractical.

“Sounds like a plan!” Corvin replied with eagerness, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.

He activated his lightcore, and a holographic map of the forest sprang to life before them. It didn’t take long for him to spot a promising location nestled between the mountains and the gentle flow of the river.

Meanwhile, Aria had been busy hunting, her prowess evident in the way she had taken down a mix of Rank 5 and Rank 6 beasts. Though she had been stuck at Rank 5 for two years, this time felt different.

A whisper of potential stirred within her, hinting at the possibility of a breakthrough.

Together, Aria and Emma made their way to the spot Corvin had identified.

“Emma, I can sense something,” Aria said, a glimmer of hope lighting her eyes. “I think I might be on the verge of ranking up soon. I’d really like to stay here for a few more days to seize this opportunity.”

Emma’s heart swelled with support. “I’ll stay with you,” she replied, her voice firm.

Interestingly, Edric had expressed a similar desire earlier, wanting to extend his stay for further training.

“I knew you were the best, Emma!” Aria exclaimed, her face lighting up with excitement.

As the evening progressed, Emma suggested they have grilled meat for dinner, a thought that made everyone’s stomachs growl in unison.

Edric took charge of the grilling, his skills evident as he expertly prepared the meat for Emma. Meanwhile, Corvin took the lead in teaching Aria’s three companions the art of roasting meat, their laughter echoing through the trees.

Feeling somewhat redundant in the bustling atmosphere, Marcus decided to retreat a bit. He pulled out his crystal coffin from his storage band, laying it on the ground before climbing inside to rest.

So… that’s Ms. Tibarn?

Malrik observed the group from a distance, his gaze fixated on Emma. She was a perfect match for the mate he had once fervently prayed to the Beast God for, down to the smallest detail.

Suppressing the excitement that bubbled within him, he addressed his men in a low, commanding tone. “I’m going to approach Ms. Tibarn now. Don’t disturb me unless it’s absolutely necessary.”

He added, “In the meantime, continue searching for Merlin’s whereabouts. And ensure the Enchanter Clan is unaware of my return.”

“Understood,” his men replied promptly, their expressions serious.

With a determined look, Malrik produced a vial and swallowed its contents. In an instant, his tall, imposing figure shrank down, transforming into a tiny pink bunny, no bigger than a kitten.

Having done his research, he recalled that Emma had recently been caring for several small pink fish. She seemed to have a soft spot for such adorable creatures, and he surmised she would feel the same about a cute little bunny.

The shapeshifting potion he had consumed allowed him to change forms freely, a valuable item he had acquired from the Chitinid. Each vial’s effects lasted for three days, and he had only managed to procure ten in total.

As Emma savored the grilled meat Edric had prepared, she suddenly felt a gentle tickling sensation on her leg. Looking down, she was met with the sight of a tiny pink bunny rubbing its head affectionately against her.

It was impossibly cute, its pale pink fur soft and fluffy, almost shimmering in the dim light of the evening. Emma found herself irresistibly drawn to it, her heart swelling with affection.
