**Chapter 190 Naming the Little Bunny**
Malrik found himself lost in a daydream, an unexpected urge bubbling within him. *I really want to kiss her…* The thought flitted through his mind like a butterfly, light and fleeting, yet it lingered, filling him with a warmth he couldn’t quite understand.
As Corvin wrapped up his lesson with Aria’s three companions, teaching them the delicate art of grilling meat, he made his way back to Emma with a spring in his step. The moment he approached, his gaze fell upon a delightful sight—a tiny pink ball of fluff nestled comfortably in Emma’s arms. “Where’d the bunny come from, Emma?” he exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with curiosity and delight.
Crouching down beside her, he reached out tentatively, his fingers brushing against the soft fur of the little creature. *So soft…* The sensation sent a thrill through him, and he marveled at how something so irresistibly cute could even exist. *I wish I could hold it too!* The thought crossed his mind, igniting a flicker of longing.
“Emma, the little bunny is absolutely adorable! We should definitely bring it home as our pet!” he declared, his enthusiasm bubbling over.
It was clear that another soul had fallen under his charm, and a flicker of guilt washed over Malrik. He hadn’t intended to enchant anyone; it was merely a byproduct of his innate abilities that had become increasingly difficult to manage since he ascended to Rank 11. Despite his best efforts to keep his charm in check, a faint aura still leaked from him, ensnaring those around him.
He recalled the moment he first met Emma, how she had been captivated almost instantly. *I haven’t even figured out how to confess my true identity to her yet, and now this…* The complexity of his situation weighed heavily on him. *Ugh, it’s becoming more complicated by the second! How am I supposed to explain everything to her?*
Emma cradled the pink bunny in her arms, her face lighting up with joy as she looked at Corvin. “I’ve already spoken to Edric and Marcus. We’re taking it home as a pet!” she announced, her excitement infectious.
Corvin nodded vigorously, his fingers gently stroking the fluffy creature once more. “Have you named it yet, Emma?” he inquired, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
“Nope,” she replied, shaking her head lightly, her brow furrowed in thought.
After a brief moment of contemplation, he suddenly blurted out, “Since it’s so cute, let’s call it… Dominator! What do you think?”
Emma blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback by his unexpected suggestion. “Why would you name it Dominator just because it looks cute?” she asked, her confusion evident. *Shouldn’t it have a name that reflects its cuteness instead?*
Malrik repeated the name in his mind, *Dominator…* It wasn’t half bad; it actually had a certain ring to it. Corvin might have seemed foolish at times, but perhaps he possessed a better taste than Malrik had initially given him credit for.
Corvin continued, his tone serious, “It’s so cute that it deserves a strong and fierce name! That way, other beasts won’t dare to bully it.”
Emma tilted her head, contemplating his reasoning. *That… actually kind of makes sense…*
Just then, Edric strolled over, rolling his eyes at Corvin’s suggestion. “Dominator doesn’t sound nearly as good as Wild Fang,” he interjected, a smirk playing on his lips.
Emma felt her mouth fall open in disbelief at the absurdity of their suggestions.
Corvin shot back, “How is Wild Fang any better? It sounds like some stray cat roaming the streets!”
Malrik couldn’t help but agree. *Exactly! What’s wrong with these guys? Their taste is awful!*
Emma sighed, feeling a wave of frustration wash over her. Truth be told, she found both names rather terrible. In a moment of desperation, she turned to Marcus, who lay snoozing in his crystal coffin. “Marcus, which name sounds better to you?”
His lazy voice drifted out, barely awake. “Neither.”
A wave of relief washed over her; at least someone here had taste. “Then, what do you think we should name the bunny?” she asked, hopeful.
