Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 191

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley 191**
**Chapter 191: Trials and Tribulations**

Ms. Tibarn felt a gnawing anxiety settle in her chest, her thoughts consumed by the snake. The ominous creature had been lurking, and the uncertainty of its condition weighed heavily on her mind.

Malrik, keenly aware of the snake’s precarious situation, flexed his claws thoughtfully. *That snake has no idea how fortunate it is,* he mused, a smirk playing at the corners of his mouth. After all, he had a Rank 10 beast in his possession, one he had snatched right from under the noses of the Chitinids. It was a stroke of luck, and considering Emma’s distress, he felt a sense of duty to lend that beast to the snake.

Meanwhile, Emma, feeling the need for a refreshing shower, gently placed the small creature in her arms onto the couch. “Wait for me here, okay?” she instructed, her voice laced with affection.

Malrik, ever the obedient companion, settled himself on the couch, his eyes following her every move as she hurried to grab a change of clothes before disappearing into the bathroom.

Outside, Corvin was busy tinkering with something, his concentration unwavering. After a few moments, Malrik decided to leap off the couch, leaving the rest pod behind. He picked up the trail left by Edric, eager to find his target.

Edric had been dispatching several Rank 7 beasts with an ease that belied the danger they posed. They were currently situated on A3, a location relatively close to Central Planet, where high-tier beasts were a rarity. If one wanted to indulge in the thrill of hunting high-tier beasts, they would have to venture all the way to the outer battlefield at Duskora.

Despite Edric’s impressive feats, what he truly required at this moment was to push beyond his limits. Only by doing so could he achieve the breakthrough he desperately sought. To reach that pinnacle, he had to brace himself for a fierce confrontation, one that would demand everything he had.

With a flick of his wrist, Malrik produced a special storage capsule, releasing the Rank 10 beast he had kept safely tucked away. He then swiftly concealed himself, eager to observe Edric’s encounter from the shadows. After all, he was uncertain of Edric’s true strength, and the snake was about to face off against a formidable Rank 10 beast. Leaving the snake unprotected was not an option; Emma would be heartbroken if anything were to happen to Edric.

Suddenly, the air was rent by a thunderous roar that seemed to shake the very ground beneath them. The Rank 10 beast surged forward, its oppressive aura palpable as it charged directly at Edric.

Edric’s head snapped toward the beast in disbelief, his instincts kicking in before his mind could catch up. He leapt into the air just as the beast barreled toward him. *How in the world is there a Rank 10 beast here on A3?* His thoughts raced as he watched the massive trees around him crash to the ground with a resounding thud.

Yet, this was not the moment for hesitation; the Rank 10 beast was on him once more, launching poisonous-looking orbs in his direction.

Edric dodged to the side with agility, feeling a surge of adrenaline rather than fear as he confronted the grotesque creature. Excitement flickered in his eyes.

Malrik, perched on a thick tree trunk, observed with satisfaction as Edric lunged at the beast. “Not bad at all. He’s got some brains in that noggin of his,” he remarked to himself, feeling a swell of pride.

Just then, Emma emerged from her shower, her senses immediately alert to the commotion outside. “What’s happening?” she called out, hastily pulling on her clothes as her heart raced.

Marcus and Corvin were standing by the door of the rest pod, their expressions serious.

“Emma, Marcus says there’s a Rank 10 beast in this forest,” Corvin explained, his voice tinged with urgency.

Emma’s gaze shot toward the forest, her heart sinking. “That’s the path Edric took!” She couldn’t shake the dread that gripped her. *He wouldn’t be that unlucky, would he?*
