Spoiled By My Nine Beast Husbands (Emma Tibarn) novel Chapter 348

**When She Opened the Door to the Life She Was Afraid to Live by Nora Vale Kingsley**
**Chapter 348 Are You Guys Okay?**

Malrik appeared utterly bewildered, as if the world around him had just shifted. He blinked, his striking golden eyes shimmering with unshed tears as he gazed up at Marcus, searching for answers in his father’s face.

“Daddy, why did you push me?” His voice wavered, a fragile thread holding back the tears that threatened to spill over. “Don’t you like Malrik anymore?”

“Oh, no,” came the soft, dismayed reply from Corvin, who stood nearby, his heart sinking at the sight of Malrik sprawled helplessly on the floor, looking as though he might crumble into sobs at any moment.

“He hasn’t lost his memory. He’s just gone dumb,” Corvin said, concern lacing his tone as he crouched down to offer a comforting presence.

Edric, feeling the weight of the situation, attempted to defend himself quietly. “It wasn’t me. I really did control the dose,” he murmured, though the guilt gnawed at him.

Lucien, who had been watching the scene unfold with a grimace, stepped forward. Without a word, he reached down and lifted Malrik with firm but gentle hands, setting him upright.

“We need to get moving,” he urged, urgency threading through his voice. “The Enchanter Clan servant and that woman, Dahlia, are coming this way.”

Meanwhile, in the front hall, Dahlia had just exited the ballroom, flanked by an Enchanter Clan servant. Their destination was the bridal suite that Celia had meticulously prepared for her and Malrik, a space meant for bonding and intimacy.

Malrik, a rank eleven therian, possessed the coveted Beast God’s fruit, a power that placed him leagues above Kael in strength and ability.

As Dahlia approached the bridal suite, a flicker of ambition ignited in her eyes. She surveyed her surroundings, a frown creasing her brow.

“Why aren’t there any guards here?” she inquired, her tone sharp and demanding as she turned to the servant who walked ahead of her.

The servant, maintaining a respectful demeanor, replied, “Ms. Lane, Ms. Yates instructed that no one should disturb you and Mr. Malrik while you bond. Once the bridal suite was prepared, everyone was ordered to leave.”

Dahlia couldn’t help but think how considerate Celia was being.

Nodding thoughtfully, she scanned the empty hallway again, her tension easing slightly.

“Ms. Lane, we’ve arrived at the bridal suite,” the servant announced, his voice cheerful. “Mr. Malrik is inside.”

With a grin, he opened the door, but the moment his eyes landed on the interior, his expression shifted to one of horror.

“Ahh!” he screamed, his face draining of color as he pointed into the room, shock rendering him speechless.

Dahlia jumped at the sound of his scream. “What happened?” she demanded, rushing to the threshold to peer inside. Her breath caught in her throat as she took in the scene before her.

The room was in absolute disarray. Tables and chairs lay overturned, shattered porcelain littering the floor like confetti from a disastrous celebration. The once luxurious carpet was now crumpled and marred by muddy footprints, a stark contrast to the elegance it had once held.

But most alarming of all—Malrik was nowhere to be seen!

“What on earth happened here?” Dahlia’s voice rose, sharp as glass as she seized the servant by the collar. “Where’s Mr. Malrik?”
