In the middle of a lush green forest, five green boas were currently doing a weird dance. Some might wonder if it was a mating dance of sorts, but in reality, they were simply curling and writhing and tensing and coiling constantly as if they were in unbearable pain.

They twisted and writhed as though an invisible fire burned through their veins. Their emerald scales shimmered unnaturally in the shifting sunlight, and every contortion of their bodies looked less like instinct and more like a curse etched into their flesh. The ground beneath them was torn and scuffed, as if they had been thrashing in that spot for hours.

"Hmmm... not the ideal control I wanted, but this is good enough for me to get the job done." Damon grinned. He then released the five green boas from his control and surprisingly let them go. "Run, little snakes. I am in a very good mood today."

The five boas frantically tried to slither away, tears of blood streaming from their eyes. They were all level 110 beasts, but for the past several hours, they had been toyed around by a monster as if they were level 10 tree snakes.

They staggered across the forest floor, ran as fast as they could, their bodies scraping against roots and rocks in their desperate retreat. Blood streaked the grass where they passed, staining the green with streaks of crimson. They silently vowed never to come out to the outer regions again and disappeared into the dense shrubbery.

Watching this scene, Erin giggled in delight. "I must say, my Lord. You are simply brilliant."

Damon chuckled at his sadistic little sidekick. "You haven’t seen anything yet. The real show will start now. Let’s go. We are already five hours late."

He finished his training later than expected, but it was fine. The results were just as he had hoped. Now he was ready to execute his plan. Some might call it a death wish, but what the heck. If he did not mess with these fuckers now, in the future, they might even become too powerful for him to do anything about it!

He opened his system interface and his message bar on the side. There, he typed a new name that was not already in his friend’s list.

TotallyNotAGod.

This name was one of the reasons both of them had quickly become very good friends in his last life.

"Blood God and TotallyNotAGod! We are coming for you, world! We will become unbeatable gods one day!" Damon remembered the countless times they had shouted embarrassing things after a hard day’s work, getting completely sloshed.

Damon clenched his fists and hit confirm. The name blinked into his interface, and the system pinged with a soft chime.
