Camila smiled at the thought. There was no way she could say no. She took the bag from Vivien, then headed out to the car with Dennis. They left for the capital together.

Also, our team will use their contacts this evening to buy the special drug from Professor Keri’s side.”

Dennis nodded, looking pleased with how things were going. “And they haven’t gotten suspicious?”

Aaron shook his head. “Not so far. We told them we’re part of an underground group called the Sanguine Covenant from the Golden Triangle. It’s a complicated organization, so they won’t be able to check us out easily. We’re just not sure how fast we can get close to Professor Keri. It’ll take a bit more time.”

Dennis didn’t seem too worried. “That’s all right. Just make sure we get in touch with him without any mistakes.”

“Understood,” Aaron said. He left to take care of the rest.

Meanwhile, Camila had just finished treating RedFox’s leg. As she stepped out of his room, her phone started to ring. The number was unfamiliar, but it was a domestic call.

She frowned, wondering who would be calling her from home with a number she didn’t recognize. Without thinking too much, she picked up.
