Swapping a Broken Heart for a New Start novel Chapter 1121

Dennis paused for a moment. When he first arrived in Kaston, he’d already asked someone to craft a custom wedding ring, but it still wasn’t ready. For now, though, he could take her to pick out something special at a jewelry store. After all, Kaston was famous for its jewelry, and finding a few beautiful pieces for her to wear every day sounded perfect.

He decided to keep the custom ring a secret for now. “Yeah, we can go pick something out,” he said with a calm nod.

Camila’s heart skipped a beat. Her eyes sparkled with excitement. “Can we go now?” she asked, barely able to hide her anticipation.

She wasn’t sure how long this clear-headed moment would last. Being able to pick out rings with Dennis was something she’d never even dared to dream about, so she cherished every second of it.

“Of course,” Dennis replied gently.

He told the driver where to go, and soon they were on their way to meet a renowned jewelry designer. “Her name is Latonia. She’s from Estonia and she’s a big name in Kaston’s jewelry world,” Dennis explained. He knew her through family—Latonia was a relative of his aunt Charlotte. They weren’t especially close, but it made dropping by an easy choice.

When they arrived, Latonia instantly recognized Dennis. She greeted him with a warm smile. “Mr. Williams, what brings you here today?” She glanced at Camila with a knowing look. “Are you here to help your lovely companion pick out some jewelry?”

Dennis smiled and nodded. “Yes, we’re looking at rings.”

Latonia beamed and had her exclusive collection brought out. Each piece was unique, carefully crafted and one of a kind. Dennis didn’t hold back—he picked out several gorgeous sets for Camila and asked Latonia to wrap them up.

Camila stared at the sparkling jewelry in disbelief. “This is way too much,” she protested, her cheeks flushed. “You really don’t have to buy so many. I barely wear jewelry, I’m always in the lab.”

Dennis laughed softly. “Nothing is too much when it’s for you.”
