Kyle glanced at Walter before saying, “Before The Smith Group can drop their news bomb, we could leak a massive scandal about them. Something big enough that they’ll be too busy putting out fires to mess with us.”

Walter jumped in, “Or—crazy idea—what if we just take Lucas Smith out of commission? Aiden told me he’s the one running The Smith Group’s PR team. If he’s tied up, he won’t be able to control the narrative. Plus, it might throw Jordan Smith off his game.”

He shrugged. “But honestly, that’s a desperate move. Kyle’s idea is a lot cleaner.”

With the company’s lawyer right there, Walter wasn’t about to seriously suggest anything illegal.

Camila looked to Kyle, hopeful. “So, what’s your better idea?”

Kyle said, “The scandal we leak has to be controversial. Maybe evidence of The Smith Group’s shady business practices, or some juicy gossip that gets the internet talking. Anything that’ll spark a heated debate would work.”
