Chapter 66

However, the moment I looked up at Sebastian, I knew I had to tell him. I’ve never seen hot possessiveness aimed at me like I saw in his gaze. I’ve seen it in my brother’s eyes when he looks at his mate. I’ve seen it in hers when she looks at Dane, and in other mated pairs when they look at each other. But no one has ever looked at me like that. Something about it made my wolf stand up and take notice in a completely unexpected way. I felt that same posses- siveness coming from her.

I’ve never been possessive, never felt possessive. Until now. Something deep inside me is more than excited that I de- cided to take this sex class. It means that Sebastian will be MINE. At least for ten weeks.

When we leave the dining hall, I head upstairs like everyone else to get my things and head to the classroom.

“So, were you just being nice, or did you mean it?” Liam asks, falling into step beside me. I know he’s talking about my comment to Sebastian.

“If you have to ask, then I pity poor Mia this semester,” I tell him, before turning down my hall.

“Don’t you worry about me, Christina. He won’t be the first young Alpha I’ve whipped into shape,” Mia says, follow- ing me down the hallway.

“I have every faith in YOU, Mia. It’s the arrogant Alpha that needs to figure his shit out,” I say, looking past her to where Liam is watching our exchange.

I grab my robe and slippers and step into the hallway. I’ll change in the classroom locker room.

“Can I come with you?” Haley asks, walking out of her room at the same time. I quickly look to make sure she has her robe and slippers.

“Sure.”

“Me too?” Charlotte asks, stepping out of her room.

“Come on,” I say.

When we step outside, Haley looks around making sure we’re alone. “Is it normal to be nervous?” she whispers.

“Yeah, I feel really anxious. I’m second guessing my decision to do this,” Charlotte says.

“I will tell you what Alpha Sebastian said to me. The only thing you need to do is relax. You are the vessel that is al- lowing these Alphas to learn. If they do something you don’t like or it hurts, you need to tell them, and Alpha James will be there walking around to make sure they don’t do anything they shouldn’t or that they listen if you say some- thing hurts. I completely understand feeling vulnerable, but this week, we’re all on our stomachs while the Alphas learn about your bodies and massage you.”

“I believe so. And personally, I think you both have good Alphas. I think they’ll be polite and do the best they can, knowing that this isn’t a true sexual relationship. Just make sure you’re guarding your hearts. It’s hard to become as vulnerable as we need to be and not have our hearts get involved, but that’s OUR role in this,” I say, giving Haley a look.
