The Billionaire Ex-Wife and the Beggar He Became novel Chapter 421

Tiana's action sent a wave of panic through the entire family. Henrietta opened her mouth to scold Tiana but stopped herself when she remembered Julian and Janetta were present.

Janetta, however, had no such reservations. "Tiana!" she snapped. "You are a wicked child! Are you trying to hurt your own brother and sister?"

Just as Janetta's words left her lips, Felicity landed safely in Julian's arms. He had been standing right behind her. If he hadn't, she might have suffered a miscarriage.

*That little brat!* Felicity thought, internally cursing Tiana. No wonder her mother was always pinching and tormenting the child. She deserved it.

In that split second, a storm of curses raged in Felicity's mind, but her expression remained gentle. "Mom, please don't scare her," she said to Janetta. "Tiana just missed me and was running too fast. It was an accident. She didn't mean it."

Henrietta also chimed in softly, "Tiana, don't be afraid. Come to Grandma."

Janetta managed a tight smile before turning to Tiana with a stern look. "Tiana, are you so used to being an only child that you can't tolerate having a brother and sister? If you continue to be so selfish, I'll have your father send you to boarding school!"

After reprimanding the child, she looked at Julian. "Julian, you really need to consider it. What if she seriously injures the babies Felly is carrying?"

Julian didn't answer his mother. He was thinking about what the psychologist had said—that changing Tiana's environment might make her more disciplined. But he could never send her to a boarding school. He couldn't bear it. He considered sending her to stay with Winona for a while, just until Felly gave birth. Then he would bring her back.

"We'll see," Julian murmured. He decided he needed to talk to Winona about Tiana before the wedding. Winona had been out of town a few days ago, but she should be back by now.

"Do you get some kind of sick pleasure out of using my own methods against me? Is this fun for you? I'm here to talk about something important!"

Winona had no time for his games. The conference room was filled with analytical diagrams of the retirement community project, blueprints that could absolutely not be leaked. She had to get him out of there. Besides, they were divorced. They had no connection, no financial ties, and he and Felicity now had custody of *their* daughter. What was there to talk about?

"This is ridiculous," she muttered, not bothering to argue further, and strode back into her office.

Her tailored suit accentuated her slender, well-proportioned figure. The way she walked in her high heels was confident and efficient, like a top executive of a major corporation. Julian found himself momentarily mesmerized. Before he could snap out of it, security guards stepped out of the elevator and forcibly dragged him away.

The CEO of the Nicholson Group, a man of immense power and prestige in Greenwood City, had just been thrown out by the woman who once loved him more than anything.
