Stuart paused, not quite understanding what his daughter meant.

Outside the gates of Gonzales Manor, nearly all the former shareholders had departed, leaving Clark Blake standing alone.

Just as he took out his phone to make a call, a swarm of reporters materialized from out of nowhere. The lead reporter thrust a microphone in his face. "Excuse me, are you Mr. Clark Blake, former shareholder of Gonzales Holdings?"

A wave of delight washed over Clark Blake. He had just been about to contact the media himself to expose Stuart's true, ungrateful nature. With Gonzales Holdings being such a hot topic, any story related to Stuart was guaranteed to go viral.

What a stroke of luck! It was as if someone had handed him a pillow just as he was getting sleepy.

The reporter immediately followed up, "I hear that despite your long-standing friendship with the Gonzales family, you chose to backstab Mr. Gonzales and sell your shares when the company was at its lowest point. Is that true?"

"When Gonzales Holdings needed support the most, you chose to abandon them. Did you not foresee this outcome?"

With that, he turned and strode away. These reporters had to have been sent by Caitlin. Stuart wouldn't do something like this. Caitlin's move had completely blocked all of his escape routes.

Unfortunately for him, the reporters had no intention of letting him go. They chased after him, shouting as they ran, "Mr. Blake! Mr. Blake! Why are you running? Are you fleeing out of shame and anger?"
