What an ill-mannered young woman! He was Stuart's contemporary, someone who had toiled alongside him to build Gonzales Holdings into what it was today. And yet, this Caitlin didn't even have the decency to call him "uncle." Not only that, but she had the audacity to call him a deserter.
What right did she have? When he and Stuart were building the company, Caitlin hadn't even been a thought.
"Miss Gonzales, this is between your father and me. It's not your place to interfere."
"Freya's sentiment is my sentiment," Stuart said, getting out of the car as well. "I've already transferred all of my shares to Freya's name. I'm currently just an honorary chairman with no executive power."
"From now on, Gonzales Holdings is under Freya's control."
Stuart had transferred his shares to Caitlin the very day he woke up.
Hearing this, Clark Blake's eyes widened in disbelief.
*He's gone mad! Stuart must have lost his mind!*
He had actually given all his shares to Caitlin. Before Stuart had woken up from his coma, Caitlin was indeed the sole heir. But now, Stuart was awake and still perfectly capable of having more children. He could easily marry a beautiful young woman and have a son to be his successor.
What was the point of making a young girl the heir? After all, a daughter married is a daughter lost.
He thought that two decades in a coma must have addled Stuart's brain.
Clark Blake narrowed his eyes and turned his attention back to Caitlin. "My dear niece, you must remember that it was people like us who fought alongside your father for years to make Gonzales Holdings what it is today! You can't just turn your back on us!"
