Stuart turned to Carey. "He may be good-looking, but didn't you say he's incredibly stingy? With a major flaw like that, how can he possibly be worthy of our Freya?"

He then looked at Caitlin, instructing her, "Freya, it's fine for you to date him, but whatever you do, don't get too serious."

"Dad, about the whole stingy thing, I need to clear this up once and for all. Gordon isn't stingy at all. He's very generous. What we have is a mutual, two-way street." Caitlin pulled out her phone and opened her PayPal app, showing them her transaction history. "Mom, Dad, look. These are all the transfers Gordon has sent me. I admit I like him a lot, but I'm not so love-struck that I'd send him money just so he can send it back to me to create some illusion that he loves me!"
