Gordon was momentarily stunned, staring at her for a long moment, completely captivated. He felt a profound sense of accomplishment.
"Does it look bad?" Gordon's silence made Caitlin feel insecure. "Is this shade not right for me?"
"No," Gordon shook his head. "This shade is perfect for you. You look beautiful."
Caitlin chuckled lightly. "Then why were you quiet for so long?"
Gordon answered with complete sincerity, "Because my girlfriend is so beautiful, I got lost in the moment and couldn't pull myself away."
"Stop being cheesy," Caitlin reached out and pinched Gordon's cheek. "Hand me the shirt."
Gordon bent down, scooped her up by the waist, and looked up at her. "Stamp one on my face first."
Caitlin cupped his face with both hands, lowered her head, and pressed her red lips against his cheek.
"One isn't enough."
"Another one."
"More."
"More."
"..."
Soon, Gordon was pressing her down onto the sofa.
Their movements quickly attracted the attention of Monday and Snow. One of the little guys sat on the rug, tilting its head as it watched them, its small head filled with big questions. The other one jumped onto the sofa and got right up in their faces.
"That's enough, enough," Caitlin said after what felt like an eternity. Her clothes were disheveled, and she pushed him away, gasping for fresh air.
"Okay, okay." Gordon knew when to quit while he was ahead. He nodded repeatedly, pointing to his cheek. "Boss, you can kiss right here."
Caitlin obliged.
Gordon picked up his mirror again, looked at his reflection, and sighed with satisfaction. "A work of art! This is simply a work of art! Boss, your kisses are so beautiful!"
It was a terrible shame that there was no one around to share this masterpiece with.
Caitlin was speechless.
It just went to show that you couldn't judge a book by its cover. Before they started dating, Gordon had been a serious, unsmiling man in her eyes—the stereotypical cold and detached CEO. Only after they got together did she discover the playful soul hidden beneath the surface.
After admiring himself in the mirror for a while longer, Gordon took out his phone, switched to the front-facing camera, and snapped a series of selfies from various angles.

So happy for Carey, the reunion with her family is touching. Can we read more of Caitlin and Gordon? Readers are forgetting that Caitlin has a boyfriend by the way. Is it normal for their relationship to be erased in the storyline?...
Update please......
But where is Gordon?...
Great story, great author!...
