The Ex-Wife's Triumph novel Chapter 150

The two walked out of the club one after another, got into their respective cars, and drove off in different directions.

Early the next morning, Kingsley appeared on time in the top-floor office of the Sherwood Group. Shortly after, there was a knock at the door, and Shane walked in holding a stack of files, bowing respectfully. "Mr. Sherwood."

Kingsley was looking down at a contract on his desk and didn't lift his head. "Put them over there." He pointed to the corner of the desk.

Shane placed the files down, then opened the tablet in his hand, clearly reporting the day's schedule. "There's a departmental meeting at ten a.m., a negotiation with the President of Keystone Partners at two p.m., and an industry social event at seven p.m..."

"Send the Vice President to the evening event," Kingsley interrupted him directly after hearing this. The tip of his pen paused on the document as he added, "Also, notify Wyatt. Seven p.m. tonight, The Gale Fist Boxing Gym."

Shane froze, looking up at him with concern in his voice. "Mr. Sherwood, you haven't boxed in a long time. Perhaps you should train for a while to adapt before..."

"It won't affect anything," Kingsley's tone was flat, without a hint of hesitation.

Shane was still uneasy and added, "I heard that Mr. Sterling has been training very diligently lately. He's practically living at the boxing gym."

Kingsley finally looked up then, his gaze sharp and calm. He pushed the signed document aside, his voice certain. "Just arrange it as I said."

Seeing this, Shane knew further persuasion was useless, so he stopped speaking and nodded. "Yes, Mr. Sherwood. I will arrange it immediately."

In the Director's office at Sterling Group, Wyatt had just received the message from Shane. A satisfied smile touched Wyatt's lips. He leaned back, settling deeper into his chair, and snapped his fingers.

He spun his chair around several times, unable to suppress the excitement in his eyes.

He immediately opened the group chat named "Brotherhood" and quickly typed a line: [Brothers, tonight at seven. The Gale Fist Boxing Gym. Assemble!]

The moment the message went out, the group exploded:

[Received! Mr. Sterling is mighty!]

[Must attend! Coming specifically to cheer for Mr. Sterling tonight!]

"Why aren't you resting now that you're back?" Sean chuckled low, his tone teasing.

Kingsley replied faintly, "Afraid that kid will get impatient waiting."

Sean heard this and deliberately exposed him. "You wouldn't happen to be afraid that Wyatt is getting too good, so you want to suppress him before he fully figures things out?"

A cold snort came from the other end of the line, Kingsley's voice filled with disdain. "You think I'd be afraid?"

"I don't know if you're afraid or not," Sean said, naturally knowing Wyatt was no match for him. It was merely a phone call to give a pointer. "But if you beat him too badly, someone might come looking to settle the score with you later."

Kingsley didn't take the bait, his tone carrying a deliberate nastiness. "Now that you say that, I actually want to beat him a little harder."

Sean laughed in exasperation, speaking directly. "Fine, pretend I didn't say anything just now!"
