As simple as ABC?
Upon hearing Finnegan's words brimming with such confidence, both Bernice and Patrick's eyes widened in surprise.
Patrick wanted to reach out and touch Finnegan's forehead, to see if he was talking nonsense due to a fever.
Introducing new alcoholic beverages is as easy as ABC?
Finnegan also pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket, placing it on the table's turntable and spinning it toward Patrick. “Mr. Patrick,” he said, “this is a brewing recipe for a pure grain liquor. I've written down all the steps and techniques clearly. Could you take a look and see if it's feasible?”
Patrick picked up the wine brewing recipe, and Bernice also leaned in to take a look.
“Brichelion Rosato? How could that be possible?”
Upon unfolding the wine-brewing recipe, both Bernice and Patrick gasped in unison, their eyes widening considerably.
Brichelion Rosato, once a royal brew exclusive to the palace courts, was a privilege only the ancient kings and high-ranking officials were entitled to enjoy.
However, as kingdoms changed and years passed, the craft's formula had long been lost.
All that was left was incomplete.
Finnegan tilted his chin slightly. “How could it be impossible? Isn't it in your hands right now?”
They gulped in astonishment, and Patrick's hands trembled as he held the recipe. “Finnegan, this is incomplete, isn't it?” he asked.
“Incomplete?” Finnegan chuckled, “I'm sorry, but this is the complete recipe for the Brichelion Rosato. If you follow the steps correctly, you can surely brew a seven-star Brichelion Rosato! Right, it's rated two stars higher than the national wine. It will definitely be competitive in the high-end liquor market in the future!”
Patrick and Bernice exchanged a glance, both seeing shock mirrored in each other's eyes.
Following that, Bernice asked, “If this is true, where did you get it from?”
The national wine of five-star standard had built a colossal entity worth trillions.
The seven-star Brichelion Rosato, even if it were to fall short, would still meet the standards of a national wine a decade later.
This implied that it was a wine-brewing recipe worth a trillion.
Finnegan shrugged and replied, “The old man who taught me medicine passed it on to me. I never planned to go into the wine-making business. Consider it as your betrothal gift!”
Upon hearing this, Bernice chuckled. “Am I really worth that much?”
Finnegan earnestly replied, “In my heart, you are priceless!”
Upon hearing this, Bernice was deeply moved. She could certainly tell that Finnegan's words were sincere.
Patrick took a deep breath and said, “Finnegan, this surprise is too much. But I can't just take it from you for nothing, consider this formula as an investment. I'll give you thirty percent... no, forty percent of the shares!”
Finnegan knew that Patrick would certainly not dare to accept the gift for free.
Finnegan nodded in agreement. “You handle the arrangements.”
“However, there are two more issues,” Bernice took over the conversation as if something occurred to her. “The approval process for this liquor is quite complicated. It requires multiple test results before we can apply for the relevant documentation, and Firebird Winery can't afford to wait. Furthermore, the value of Brichelion Rosato is clear as day, its price is simply out of the ordinary. If we were to gradually develop the market, Firebird Winery might not be able to withstand it!”
Upon hearing this, Finnegan immediately understood Bernice's concerns. “Are you worried that the time it takes for Brichelion Rosato to go from launch to best-seller might be too long, and that Firebird Winery could be crushed by debt first?”
Patrick also thought about these issues. “Firebird Winery is currently unable to secure loans or financing. These two problems indeed need to be solved first.”
“Not a problem at all.” Finnegan picked up the cup and took a sip of coffee.
Bernice rolled her eyes at Finnegan. “How is it not a problem anymore?”
Finnegan chuckled. “After we finish eating, I'll head to the distillery with you to brew some initial samples. Tonight, you can join me for dinner at the Wright residence. That should settle everything. As for the point about the price being out of ordinary...”
With a meaningful smile, Finnegan reached into his pocket again and pulled out two pieces of paper.
He placed the papers on the table and turned around. “Then let's produce two more types of more down-to-earth liquors, one health tonic and one beer.”
