**TITLE: Arrived 231**
**Chapter 231 Harry’s First Meal in Javerton**

Estella let out a light-hearted chuckle, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “You really believe he’s a match for Lana, but what if she finds him utterly unappealing? You never know!”

Selene sighed deeply, a hint of melancholy in her voice. “If only I were attracted to his type. The real issue is that I always seem to gravitate toward the ones who turn out to be total scumbags. It’s as if I’m hardwired for self-destruction—destined to never experience a fulfilling romance. What do you think? Am I a masochist?”

As the sun climbed higher in the sky, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets, Estella decided to accompany Selene to a quaint restaurant nearby. They were joined by Jonathan, Harry, and Lana, creating a lively group filled with anticipation.

Jonathan and Lana, completely absorbed in their work, had their eyes glued to their phones, oblivious to the world around them.

Harry, however, was a different story. He immediately pushed the napkins that the waiter had placed on the table back toward him, pulling out his own packet of tissues from his bag. He meticulously wiped down the table, ensuring every surface was spotless, and then proceeded to disinfect everyone’s dishes with wipes he had brought along. Only after completing this little ritual did he finally turn his attention to the menu.

A smile crept across Estella’s face as she realized where Jonathan had picked up his peculiar habit of sanitizing everything in restaurants.

Selene leaned in closer, her voice a conspiratorial whisper. “Did you see that? He just refused to use napkins that cost three bucks! There’s no way Lana will like him. He’s way too stingy.”

Estella covered her mouth, stifling a laugh. “I think being thrifty is a commendable trait. Besides, he brought his own napkins.”

Selene pouted, crossing her arms. “That doesn’t matter. The details reveal character. Men can’t afford to be cheap.”

Harry, with a confident air, placed an order for several house specialties before handing the menu to Estella. “You girls should order whatever you fancy. By the way, Jonathan’s picking up the tab today.”

Jonathan raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised, but chose to remain silent.

Selene leaned toward Estella again, her voice barely above a whisper. “See that? A real man would offer to pay. He has no sense of chivalry at all. Not a good sign.”

When Harry noticed Lana pulling out a packet of wet wipes, he frowned, scrutinizing the brand. “These? Way overpriced. Total scam. Why waste money on this?”

Lana glanced at the packaging, her expression defensive. “It was a complimentary gift when I bought some makeup.”

Harry’s expression softened. “Oh, a freebie. That’s perfectly fine then. Just don’t let it go to waste. But that makeup brand? Crazy expensive. Honestly, most cosmetics are pretty much the same. There’s no need to splurge like that.”

Selene couldn’t resist interjecting. “Women should be able to buy whatever brands they want. Why are you so controlling?”

She had initially thought Harry was cheerful and warm-hearted, but now he struck her as completely unappealing.

Harry replied earnestly, “I just believe that money should be spent wisely. Don’t let advertisements or marketers manipulate your choices. Spend your money where it truly matters.”

Selene bristled, her eyes narrowing. “By your logic, we shouldn’t buy anything at all. What’s wrong with a woman wanting to spend money to look nice? It’s not your money.”
