The Sickened Luna's Last Chance novel Chapter 355

**The Perfect 355**
**Chapter 355**

**Ella’s POV**

“Raise your hands and step out of the house!”

A cold shiver ran down Alexander’s spine as he pulled back slightly, peering through the open door at the gathering of Stormhollow warriors. “Well, this is just fantastic,” he muttered under his breath, his expression a mix of frustration and realization. “I should have considered the aftermath before I set off those alarms without a second thought.”

I bit down on my lip, my gaze flickering nervously between Alexander and Lilith. The cacophony of alarms had drawn what felt like the entire military force of the Stormhollow pack—or at least the remnants of it. Ten warriors stood on the front lawn, weapons at the ready, their postures taut with anticipation.

The moment my eyes landed on them, my stomach plummeted. This was it, wasn’t it? This was how Alexander would meet his end—sword plunged into his chest or a spear piercing through him. He wouldn’t even be afforded the mercy of an honorable fight like Liam had received.

“It’s alright,” Alexander murmured, his voice low and steady, as he caught the fear etched across my face. “I’ll take care of this. Just trust me and follow my lead.”

For the first time since my rebirth, a comforting warmth enveloped me, easing the tension in my chest. I had to believe in Alexander’s promise—that he would aid me in breaking this curse that had shackled me. Perhaps I wouldn’t have to face this darkness alone after all.

But deep down, I couldn’t shake the worry that the universe might have other, more sinister plans for him before we could even begin to unravel the truth.

With our hands raised high above our heads, Alexander, Lilith, and I stepped out of the house. The moment Alexander’s face emerged into the light, the warriors froze, their eyes wide with disbelief.

“A-Alpha King?” The lead warrior, a Delta whose features I faintly recalled from my training days, took a tentative step forward. He gestured to the others, and slowly, their weapons lowered. “What brings you here, Sir?”

Alexander let his hands drop to his sides, a gesture of both authority and reassurance. Lilith and I exchanged hesitant glances but followed suit, lowering our arms.

“I apologize for the late-night disturbance, ladies and gentlemen,” he said, nodding respectfully to the assembled warriors. “I am here in search of Alpha Richard and Luna Margaret.”

The Delta’s brow furrowed in confusion. “And you… broke into their home?” he inquired, skepticism evident in his voice.
