Anne twirled in her pretty pink dress, crystals on the hem catching the light and sparkling with every move. She looked just like a little angel.
Her voice, sweet and innocent, filled the room and made everyone smile for real, not just out of politeness. People clapped along to the beat, encouraging her.
Max watched his daughter with soft, proud eyes. He looked every inch the loving dad, overflowing with pride and warmth as he listened.
When Anne finished singing, the whole room burst into applause and praise. Suddenly shy, she blushed and darted toward Max, hiding her face in his chest as he knelt down to hug her tight.
Everyone laughed at the adorable scene.
Max scooped Anne up, brushed his hand gently over her hair, and smiled. “You sang beautifully, Anne.”
Since this little girl arrived, the whole house felt warmer, like she brought new light with her.
At dinner, Max kept an eye on Anne while eating. She sat quietly in her booster seat, eating her food without a fuss, the perfect picture of a well-behaved child.
Out of nowhere, Anne looked up. “Granny, where’s Luke? Why isn’t he here?”
Luke always treated her especially well, bringing her little gifts all the time. Anne liked him a lot.
Rose smiled at her, softening her voice. “Luke had something to do tonight. How about we play with himnext time?”
Anne nodded right away. “Okay.”
After dinner, Paul and Randy built Lego sets with Anne in the living room. The twins were ten now and already so tall. They looked so much alike that Anne still mixed them up all the time.
The two boys adored their cute little cousin. They always made sure to save her a share of toys and presents. Sometimes, they even argued over whose gift Anne liked more, and it was always up to her to settle things and get them to make up.
Because of the kids, Max and Daniel were talking more often these days, keeping in touch in ways they hadn’t before.
By nine, Anne was sleepy, rubbing her eyes and yawning. Max picked her up, ready to take her to bed.
But Tatiana came over and gently took Anne from his arms. “We can keep Anne company tonight. You go get some rest.”
Max hesitated. “She might wake up and cry.”

Update pls...
The story is a drag. How can they write crap like this where the female lead is like a lapdog, and the male lead is a complete trash? They use a child to blackmail the mother into staying. The female lead should not go back to the trashy male lead. I would prefer her to be with Jeremy....
Hey. Thank you for updating this novel here. Request you to update a big bulky lot of chapters please. It is such an interesting novel that 10 per day is simply not enough. Thanks again...
