“I will, Daddy,” Anne promised, her voice sweet and sincere. “Make sure you get some rest and come home soon.”

The words were sincere, expressing deep regret and confirming that the people responsible had been dealt with. The apology stayed on the forum only. Felicia had insisted there was no need to make it public everywhere, not unless things got completely out of hand.
