The Undead and Unstoppable Apocalyptic Queen novel Chapter 659

**TITLE: Kept Woman 659**
**Chapter 659: Siege of East Sea Camp**

Bennie exhaled sharply, a sound that carried a hint of disdain, as he retrieved a neatly organized stack of files from his desk. “My team has just wrapped up compiling all the necessary information on the other camps,” he announced, his voice clipped and businesslike.

“Wow, I really appreciate the effort,” Theresa responded, her fingers brushing over the crisp edges of the documents as she took them from him. The satisfaction of a job well done flickered in her eyes.

Her super signal tower had been a beacon of communication, sending out a flurry of diplomatic messages, and now, to her relief, more than half of the camps had responded. Each reply was a thread in the intricate web of alliances she was weaving, and she intended to wait just a little longer for the remaining responses before broaching the topic of collaboration.

Yet, as she sifted through the reports, one particular plea leaped out at her, demanding her attention.

“Request for aid! Request for aid! Dear Ms. Hall, greetings. We are the East Sea Camp. First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt thanks for the previous support you provided during our last crisis. However, we find ourselves in dire straits once again. Our camp leader is currently trapped in the depths of Plankton City’s underground parts depot.”

Theresa’s heart raced as she continued reading. “That area is infested with high-level zombies, classified as Level 5 and above. Our camp lacks the strength to confront this threat. We urgently request that you send approximately ten of your strongest fighters to assist us! If you can rescue our camp leader, East Sea Camp is willing to pay any price!”

As she set the report down, Bennie’s voice cut through her thoughts. “Theresa, we should definitely help them. The underground parts depot of Plankton City is a military-grade storage facility. It’s filled with top-tier components that could significantly upgrade our weaponry. Just imagine the power we could wield if we secured those resources.”

His enthusiasm was unexpected; usually, he preferred to remain detached, uninterested in the fate of outsiders. But today, something was different. Perhaps it was a desire to rid himself of the complications that Theresa brought into the camp, or maybe he genuinely saw the potential in this endeavor.

Theresa’s gaze lingered on the phrase “Level 5 and above.” A knot of apprehension formed in her stomach. Just how many high-level zombies were lurking down there? Until now, her encounters with such formidable foes had been limited to a mere handful—never more than three at once. Even in F City, where the air was thick with toxic gas, the majority of zombies were only Level 3 or 4. But this was a different beast altogether.

“Alright, I’ll make the trip,” she declared, a surge of determination coursing through her veins. The prospect of facing so many high-level zombies intrigued her. She needed to witness the source of such a formidable threat firsthand.

Bennie’s lips curled into a slight smile, a rare expression for someone so typically stoic. However, that fleeting moment of camaraderie was short-lived. Theresa’s voice broke the silence again, bringing him back to reality. “While I’m gone, I expect you to draft another hundred reports. Miss even one, and you’ll wish you hadn’t when I return.”

Bennie’s expression hardened, and he shot her a glare, his annoyance palpable.

With that, Theresa set out, assembling a team for the mission. She chose Kyle and Quentin, and had Lucas summon Graham along with a few members from his special operations unit. This brought their squad to a solid ten fighters, ready to face whatever danger awaited them.
