The Undead and Unstoppable Apocalyptic Queen novel Chapter 678

**Chapter 678: Decision Maker Three**

The man in the tailored suit stood with a commanding presence, his gaze unwaveringly fixed on Theresa, ignoring the injured man at his feet entirely. His bright eyes glimmered with an unsettling intensity, as if they were searching for something beyond the surface.

Theresa met his gaze with equal resolve, her own eyes drifting briefly to the badge that adorned his chest. The emblem was familiar, yet the number etched into it—SS003—sent a shiver down her spine.

“Dear No. 7913, at last, we find ourselves face to face,” he announced, his voice smooth and confident.

Theresa’s expression hardened as she recognized the implications of his words. “Starborn Order,” she replied, her tone laced with defiance.

A smile unfurled across the man’s lips, an unsettling blend of approval and amusement. “You are quite astute, and I must say, I find that very satisfying.” He introduced himself with a flourish, “I am the Decision Maker Three of the Starborn Order. You may refer to me simply as Three.”

Theresa raised an eyebrow, her sarcasm bubbling to the surface. “So, you’re just another third wheel in this grand scheme? How quaint.”

The air grew tense as both Decision Maker Three and Clara exchanged glances, momentarily rendered speechless by her boldness.

Yet, instead of responding with anger, the man’s smile widened, revealing a strange delight in her wit. “I must admit, I appreciate your humor. It adds a certain charm to our encounter.”

“I don’t have time for your games. What is it that you want?” Theresa shot back, her grip tightening instinctively around the hilt of her blade.

His demeanor shifted slightly, but the smile remained. “I trust your aunt’s condition has improved by now. After all, you have Professor K by your side. He is bound to remedy her ailment.”

Theresa’s frown deepened, her thoughts swirling with concern and uncertainty, but she remained silent, unwilling to show weakness.

“You’ve witnessed my intentions firsthand,” he continued, his voice dripping with condescension. “I assure you, I harbor no desire to harm you. I did not interfere with the medicine. Consider that a gesture of good faith from the Starborn Order.” His tone was almost godlike, as if he were bestowing a favor upon mere mortals.

To him, Theresa and her companions were insignificant, mere specks of dust in the grand scheme of his plans. He could snuff out their lives with a mere snap of his fingers, yet he chose to spare them, a twisted display of mercy.

“What do you want?” Theresa repeated, her resolve hardening.
