The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 845

Raffy had been nothing more than a pawn for Millie, a tool to get close to Alexander and secure her position as the mistress of the Davidson family. And now, it was clear that Raffy wasn't Alistair's son, either. Otherwise, Alexander would never be this cold.

Seeing Raffy cling to her, crying and apologizing, was just like the old days when he'd gotten into trouble. But Danielle knew, deep down, that this was likely a calculated act of desperation. After a taste of hardship at the group home, seeing people who had once been "good" to him must have felt like a chance at salvation.

But if she softened and took Raffy back, it would be like raising a viper in her own home. Millie had already warped his values. Now, he only saw his own self-interest. Who knew when jealousy might drive him to do something to hurt Niki?

As Danielle wrestled with what to do, a hurried set of footsteps approached the table. It was Nash. He had come as soon as he received Alexander's text. Seeing Raffy clinging to Danielle, he didn't hesitate. He stepped forward and lifted the boy into his arms.

"Mr. Davidson, Ms. Crawford, my apologies for the delay." Nash nodded to them, then looked at the struggling boy in his arms. His tone was firm. "Come on, young man. The director from the home is waiting for you outside."

"I'm not going back! I don't want to go back!" Raffy thrashed wildly, kicking and squirming to get down. His eyes landed on Niki, and he seemed to find an outlet for his rage. He pointed a finger at her, his expression venomous. "It's you, you horrible girl! It's all your fault that Mommy and Daddy don't like me anymore!"

"You're the one who stole my mommy and daddy! I hate you! You should just die!"

The words struck Danielle like a physical blow. She looked up in disbelief, horrified that the child she had once raised could spew such poison. Instinctively, she pulled Niki behind her, her gaze turning to ice. Any last shred of hesitation vanished.

Niki's lower lip trembled. "You're the one who said you didn't want me as your mommy anymore," she retorted. "You had a new mom. Why are you coming back now?"

Raffy only screamed louder, inconsolable.

Alexander's expression was glacial as he turned to Nash. "Secretary Langley, take him back to the children's home. And make sure he never appears in front of us again."
