The Wife You Buried Is Back from Hell novel Chapter 882

"I won't accept this! I won't!" Nathan roared, his voice thick with madness. "Just you wait, Alexander! Even if I lose, I'll make sure you suffer for it!"

Gian ignored his ravings, personally fastening the cuffs around his wrists. He turned to the agents. "Take him in. Keep a close watch on him."

Watching Nathan being led away, Gian sighed softly. He pulled out his phone to call Alexander, but the signal was still dead.

He prayed silently, hoping Alexander would make it through the storm and find Danielle safely.

Meanwhile, aboard the rescue boat, the storm was finally subsiding. The rain had stopped, and the waves were calming. Alexander stared at the coordinates on the navigation screen, his hope growing stronger with every passing moment.

He knew that if he could just hold on a little longer, he would reach the island and see Danielle again.

"Mr. Davidson, island spotted ahead! It matches the coordinates!" a crew member called excitedly from the crow's nest.

Alexander immediately strode onto the deck and looked out. In the distance, a solitary island was faintly visible, its lush vegetation serene in the morning light.

"Full speed ahead," Alexander commanded.

The boat surged toward the island, closing the distance. Alexander gripped the railing, his palms slick with cold sweat.

He didn't know what awaited him there or if Danielle was safe, but one thing was certain: he had to get her back, no matter the cost.

As the boat drew closer, Alexander could make out several buildings, one of which was a large, conspicuous villa.

He gave the order at once. "Prepare to land. Special ops, get ready for engagement. Maintain cover."

The moment he saw she was safe, the tension that had gripped Alexander's heart finally snapped.

His eyes dark with emotion, he strode over and pulled her into a fierce embrace, holding her so tightly it felt as if he wanted to merge her into his very being.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I'm late."

Leaning against his solid chest, hearing the strong, steady beat of his heart, Danielle's composure finally shattered.

All the fear, loneliness, and helplessness from the past few days came flooding out as she clung to him, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist.
