"I know you're busy," Gian said quickly. "We don't need you full-time. Just to offer some technical guidance and help us solve a few problems here and there. This project is crucial for Ninesky and will benefit the entire drone industry. Please, just consider it."
Danielle looked at Gian. "Alright, I can try. But I can only help in my spare time."
"That's fantastic!" Gian exclaimed. "I'll send you the project files after the summit."
Just then, a stir rippled through the entrance of the hall. Danielle instinctively looked over and saw Alexander striding in, dressed in a sharp black suit. His presence instantly captured the room's attention and sparked a wave of whispers.
"Isn't that Alexander? I heard he sent his own brother to prison. The Davidson family is practically in shambles, and he still has the nerve to show up?"
"I know, right? The man is so cold-hearted and ruthless, he'd even turn on his own family. Who would dare to partner with him now?"
"And I heard he has depression. How can someone like that manage The Davidson Group? I give it a year before he runs it into the ground."
Danielle sat in the audience, watching the brilliant man on stage. She knew Alexander was never the cold-hearted person others made him out to be. He just used a hard shell to protect himself, shouldering all the pressure alone.

OMG! Chapters 451-462 had me on edge. I wish we could also read Alexander's POV. I swear I want to punch him and Millie. This story is kind of a push and pull. The main character will win some, then lose some. Hope the writer gives Danielle a big win....
I hope not a lot of important dialogues get cut out, especially between Danielle and Alexander. But I can't complain, really. Thank you again for the updates....
