Too Late She Already Married Mr. Right (Sophia) novel Chapter 282

Jason grinned. "Such a good omen. Mr. Sterling will definitely love it."

Sophia was speechless

"Why does it feel like he's just digging a deeper hole for himself?' she thought.

After settling the garden plans, they chatted as they walked back to the villa. Richard came downstairs with his hair still damp.

He'd changed into a fresh outfit, his hair loose and unkempt, falling over his forehead. If it weren't for that commanding aura, he could've passed for a recent college grad

Richard looked at her, his eyes deep and unreadable.

"All sorted?" he asked

Jason immediately piped up, excited. "Ms. Evans suggested we plant two crabapple trees. I think it's a great idea."

Richard suppressed a faint smirk, giving Sophia a mischievous look. "Very auspicious indeed."

Sophia just stood there, at a total loss for words.

'Seriously, you two are totally in sync. Now it feels like I'm scheming or something, she thought.

"If we bring in some mature pomegranate trees now, come October, Ms. Evans can just stroll out and pick fresh fruit right from the garden," Jason said.

'By then, I bet Mr. Sterling and Ms. Evans will be a real couple," Jason mused to himself.

'If Mr. Sterling acts quickly enough, who knows —maybe we'll be welcoming a little master around here soon, he added in his head.

If Sophia had any idea what Jason was thinking, she'd probably be stunned

"Is their relationship on fast-forward or what?" Sophia thought to herself.

Just as she was about to say something, her phone buzzed. She picked it up-it was an unknown number.

She answered, and Lucas's voice exploded on the line, practically spitting fire.

"Sophia, what the hell did you do to my mom? Do you even have any respect left for your elders?" he roared.
