Too Late to Ask Too Late to Love (Julian and Eleanor) novel Chapter 18

Suddenly.

Smack.

Warm lips pressed against his cheek.

Jason’s foot slammed on the brake.

He sat there, completely stiff, slowly turning his head, his eyes filled with a mix of hurt and joy.

Eleanor moved her lips away slightly. Still don’t believe me now?

Before she could finish, the man grabbed her chin fiercely.

A possessive and feverish kiss immediately overwhelmed her.

MmmMmph!

JasonJason!

Eleanor gave him a hard shove, her tone a bit annoyed.

Every time, it was like he wouldn’t stop until he’d chewed her lips swollen!

Just drive the car!

This time, it was Eleanor’s turn to be angry.

Jason’s expression returned to normal, and he even started whistling in a great mood, humming along to the music in the car.

Eleanor had him in her heart.

This realization swept away all the gloom in Jason’s heart.

God knows how much he regretted it after promising Eleanor he would wait for her obediently in the States.

And how devastated he was when he came home from work to an empty house and the few clothes Eleanor had left behind.

He couldn’t wait and immediately had someone buy him a ticket for the soonest flight back to the country, following her.

Only to see one trending topic after another about her and Julian.

They met five years ago, and he had known about her past all along.

How could he not know the place Julian held in Eleanor’s heart?

So he panicked.

In reality, what bigname director or script couldn’t he get for her in the States?

Why did she have to come back?

Even if she had temporarily forgotten Julian while with him these past few years, what if they were together day and night on set?

That was the man she had loved for so many years.

For the first time, he was so jealous of another man, one who had once received all of Eleanor’s unconditional love.

This was the thought that had been running ceaselessly through his mind the whole time.

But now, he felt a little relieved.

It wasn’t just this reassuring kiss.

It was more..

He looked in the rearview mirror at Eleanor in the back seat, her lips slightly pouted, looking a bit like an angry pufferfish.

Honey, give me a kiss.

Mmph

In the throes of passion, Jason looked up, satisfied, and met another man’s gaze, then provocatively and forcefully pressed against Eleanor, using her body to shut the door completely.

Two different worlds, inside and outside the door.

Julian’s body froze completely, staring at the closed door, his chest not rising or falling for a long

time.

He had escorted her all this way, only to see her actively kissing another man.

The defenses around his heart seemed to completely collapse.

Everything was telling him that Eleanor didn’t want him anymore.

She had completely given up on him and turned to another man’s arms.

He didn’t know how long he stood there before turning and going downstairs.

Brandon was a bit stunned, not expecting Mr. Blackwood to be back so soon.

I need you to do something.

Yes, Mr. Blackwood.

And so, due to Julian’s intentional interference, Jason ultimately didn’t get what he wanted.

Just as Jason was kissing her from the living room onto the bedroom bed, lifting her skirt slightly. and the atmosphere was heating up, the doorbell rang, completely shattering the mood.

Jason wanted to pretend he didn’t hear it and continue, but Eleanor had already snapped out of it.

Jason, someone’s at the door.

Mmm

Jason wanted to keep going.

Hello sir, the guest next door complained about our noise
