“Go get your manager. Someone’s making a scene here. We’ve tried everything, but she just refuses to leave our private room. Call security and get her out, or we’re going to make a complaint.”

Raine jumped in, nodding eagerly. “Yeah, hurry up and kick her out.”

The waiter looked flustered, then hurried off to find the manager and call for security.

Helene shot Madeline a cold look. “I already gave you a chance. You blew it.”

Madeline just smiled and pulled out the chair beside her, sitting down. “Alright. Let’s wait and see.”

Honestly, she was curious too. Who would the manager actually kick out?

Raine stomped over and tried to shove Madeline out of her seat. “Are you crazy? Who said you could sit down? You’re getting bolder every day. What, you broke now? Came here for a free meal?”

Madeline dodged, barely touched by the push. She stood up straight, her eyes turning frosty as she stared at Raine.

“What are you staring at me for?”

Madeline let out a cold laugh. “I just think you’re pathetic.”

Word must have gotten around, because the manager hurried in, looking worried. “Ladies, what’s going on here?”

Helene stepped forward, threw Madeline a glare, and said, “She barged into our private room and refuses to leave. We’ve tried to reason with her, but she’s just not listening. We need her out, now.”
