Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 158

"Feed me!" Enoch declared with an air of entitlement.

Drusilla was speechless.

His legs might be giving him trouble, but there's nothing wrong with his hands!

Why on earth should she feed him?

Sitting beside her, Enoch urged, "Hurry up."

Drusilla glanced at him, his face a carbon copy of Colton and Cormac's... Normally, she played the role of caretaker to these two little tyrants, teaching them everything from the moment they were born, including how to use a fork and knife.

Now, looking at Enoch, she picked up the bowl.

She forked some vegetables and fed him.

Back at the Taylor family's gatherings, she had fed him before, in front of his family, just for show.

Every time she noticed Harlan's stiff expression, she couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction.

But now, with just the two of them at home...

Why would he still acting like this?

Facing Enoch's refined features, Drusilla said, "Enoch, I want to end our agreement."

Enoch looked at her, "End our agreement?"

Drusilla responded, "Your family never liked me anyway, and someone with my background really isn't a match for you. Let's just call it quits!"

Enoch had thought she was just being temperamental, perhaps because of the issues with the kids.

Hearing her say this, however, upset him.

He asked Drusilla, "Why?"

"No particular reason, I just don't want to continue anymore. Odette will come back eventually. I don't want to have any dealings with you in the future!" If she left suddenly, Enoch might look for her, and even if he didn't, he might bother her family.

But...

Enoch, noticing her irritation, smirked slightly and gently placed his hand on her head.

He must be going crazy!

Despite his words, deep down, he actually harbored the thought of continuing their life together.

With his busy work schedule, finding someone else seemed too troublesome!

Drusilla caught his hand from her head and looked at him warily, "What are you doing?"

Enoch coolly withdrew his hand, "There was something on your head."

"Was there?" she checked his hand, but there was clearly nothing there.

Enoch ignored her and began to eat on his own.

The man who had just demanded to be fed was now eating independently, as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
