Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 244

"It's them." Drusilla dealt with them every day; she knew their faces better than anyone else. A single glance was all it took to recognize them!

Serge said, "Guess they didn't see us."

Once they reached the ground floor, Enoch's car had already left.

Serge turned to Drusilla, "You heading back now? I can give you a lift."

He'd driven here, which made it convenient.

Drusilla replied, "No worries, I'll catch a cab. You've got work this afternoon, right? I don't want to trouble you; I've got some errands to run anyway."

Serge nodded, "Alright then."

Drusilla went back home to pack up some stuff, moving the things she wouldn't immediately need over to Verena's place. Since she was renting her current place and moving in with the Taylor family for the time being, she wouldn't need it, which saved her a lot of money.

And frankly, whether it was the Taylor family or the Lawson family, neither seemed as dependable as Verena's place to her.

By the time she was done with everything, it was already the afternoon, just in time to pick up Colton and Cormac from school. The Taylor family's chauffeur had already arrived. Blythe had specifically arranged for a driver to take the kids to and from their classes.

Back at the Taylor's, Blythe took the kids to pick fruits at the farm behind the house, and Drusilla joined them.

After a busy day, Drusilla returned to have dinner, and it was pretty late. The kids were whisked away by Blythe for their lessons; she had hired a tutor to teach them extra-curricular subjects.

Of course, the cost was something Drusilla could never have afforded in the past.

Blythe really put a lot of effort into those kids.

...

Drusilla returned to her room to find Enoch hadn't come back yet. She was supposed to do his acupuncture treatment, so she called Oberon, "Oberon, has Enoch not returned yet? When will he be back?"

It was almost 10 PM.

Drusilla replied, "Not yet, I'm stepping out for a bit."

With that, she left.

Lilith watched her leave and turned to Blythe, "Where's Aunt Drusilla going? And Uncle Enoch hasn't come back today? They didn't have a fight, did they?"

Especially with how angry Drusilla looked, it seemed possible. After all, Drusilla looked exactly like someone on a mission to catch a cheater!

Could it be Verena stirring trouble?

Thinking this, Lilith smirked, looking forward to the drama.

...

Drusilla parked her car downstairs, where a valet took her keys to park it. She entered the building and saw Oberon, following him upstairs to find Enoch sitting on a sofa, with a couple of drinking buddies by his side.
