Twins - The Unforeseen Legacy of My Ex's Uncle-in-Law novel Chapter 277

Emerging from the restroom, Drusilla made her way back to the diner, noticing Enoch still seated there.

She eyed him, debating internally about bringing up Verena, a topic she dared not touch for fear of revealing too much.

Finding herself at a loss for words in front of Enoch, she simply gazed at him.

Enoch, catching her look, suggested, “I’ve got a meeting at the office. Come with me.”

Drusilla nodded in agreement, “Sure.”

It wasn’t like she had much of a choice.

With Verena not bringing the kids out, Drusilla realized she had to take matters into her own hands!

...

At the Taylor residence, Verena sat angrily, “Raising Colton and Cormac wasn’t easy, and now I can’t even take them out.”

She was deeply immersed in her role, speaking with all the conviction of Colton and Cormac’s biological mother.

Blythe reassured her, “Don’t worry, once Enoch is back, I’ll talk to him. By the way, Verena… didn’t you say you liked Enoch? I actually think it’d be great if you married into the family. What do you think?”

Drusilla had already left.

Blythe was now even more keen on having Verena marry into the family.

That way, Colton and Cormac could grow up with their biological parents, safe from Drusilla’s bad influence!

Hearing Blythe’s words, Verena felt a twinge of sympathy for Drusilla.

Saskia, who had just visited Lilith, walked in on their conversation, picking up a grape from the table and starting to peel it. She asked, “Ma’am, I heard you sent Drusilla away?”

Blythe, displeased with Saskia’s presence, gave her a cold look.
