"Man, you've got the gift of the gab!"
At first, she thought his mouth was his worst feature, always spouting nonsense when he was actually a decent guy. But now, she was head over heels in love with him!
Saskia wasn't too thrilled when she heard she had to bring Lilith home and take good care of her.
Even though she was now okay with taking care of Lilith, knowing she was pregnant and wanting to look after her at the Taylor residence, it was partly because she saw it as an opportunity to check out the Taylor family's home.
Taking Lilith in, especially now that she's pregnant, wasn't going to be easy.
How could she keep going out for casual poker nights like she used to?
But she had already spoken, so she had to suck it up.
Lilith looked at Blythe and asked, "Grandma, do you want me to leave too?"
She knew her grandma adored her and would never agree with Enoch's idea.
Blythe looked up at Lilith. Of course, she wanted Lilith to stay close, but then her gaze fell on Saskia, and she couldn't hide her disdain.
Saskia had been using the excuse of taking care of her grandson to stick around the Taylor family. Just this morning, she barged into Blythe's room and messed with her skincare products. Blythe was livid.
It wasn't like the family was short on those items, but having someone tamper with your personal belongings was infuriating!
Now with Enoch suggesting Lilith go to the Harlan's, Blythe was almost relieved.
"You'll be in good hands with your mother-in-law. Besides, Colton and Cormac have been swamped lately, and I need to take care of them. I might not be able to give you the attention you need. Honestly, your Uncle is just looking out for you!"
Hearing this, Lilith pursed her lips, "I understand."
She stopped eating, stood up, and left the dining room.
This house could no longer be her home!
Harlan quickly stood up and followed her out.
