**TITLE: A Divorce 821**
**CONTENT: Chapter 821**
“What on earth are you saying? How is this my fault all of a sudden?” Xavier’s voice was laced with disbelief, his eyes narrowing as he turned to Amy, who stood in a shadowy corner, her presence almost ethereal, as if she were a ghost in the room.
With a deliberate calmness, Amy stepped forward, her hands trembling slightly as she placed a stack of photographs on the coffee table between them. Each image seemed to pulse with unspoken accusations.
Aunt’s gaze fell upon the photos, her expression shifting from confusion to sheer horror as she processed the implications of what lay before her. “This… this… Xavier, you had me followed?” Her voice trembled, a mix of indignation and fear.
Amy interjected, her tone steady but tinged with urgency, “Bryan took these few pictures. My people captured this one just last Saturday.” She gestured to the most damning of the images, her eyes darting between Xavier and Aunt.
Xavier’s lips curled into a derisive sneer. “Aunt, you claimed that my uncle had nothing to do with this. So, I must ask, what exactly is your relationship with Stephen? Why did you feel the need to meet him in secret? Does my uncle even know about this?” Each question dripped with accusation, his frustration boiling over.
Aunt’s face flushed with rage, her voice rising in a mix of anger and shame. “What nonsense are you spewing, you insolent brat? I am your elder!” She pointed a trembling finger at him, her authority hanging by a thread.
Xavier’s mind raced back to the two years of deceit he had endured, a web of lies that had nearly unraveled his marriage to Aveline. With a surge of fury, he snatched the photos from the table and hurled them at Aunt, the sound of paper slapping against her chest echoing in the tense air. “Do you even deserve the title of elder?” he spat, his voice low and dangerous.
“You and Jonathan are just itching to take control of everything. Does Jonathan even have what it takes to lead? If he truly had the ability, my father would never have been the one to take the helm, and I certainly wouldn’t be in line to take charge now.” His words were sharp, cutting through the room like a knife.
“Do you honestly believe Stephen is that loyal or resilient? If I push him just a little, he’ll crack and confess everything,” he continued, his voice a low growl filled with determination. “What did Stephen do to the driver who took Aveline and me to the hospital that day? Did he hide him away, or worse?” A dark chuckle escaped him. “Once he’s in police custody, he’ll have no choice but to spill the truth.”
Rupert, with a voice as deep as thunder, interjected, “I’ll only pose one question, and you better answer it truthfully. Does Jason know about all this?”
Aunt’s eyes widened in panic, and she shook her head vehemently. “No, Jason doesn’t know. There’s no way he could know. If he did, he would never have allowed us to go through with this.” Her voice trembled, the weight of her words sinking in.

When is the novel ending? It’s so unnecessarily long… not a single intimacy or connection just fighting and bickering from the beginning to end...
