**Title: Alpha Novel 380**
**Chapter 380**
The instant our gazes collided, a surge of intensity enveloped me, leaving my throat dry and my heart pounding like a drum in my chest. Alexander’s face was mere inches away, and as his smoldering, dark eyes drifted down to my lips, it felt as if the very atmosphere around us had been sucked away. Time itself seemed to halt as I held my breath, anticipation flooding my senses, waiting for him to make his next move.
With a firm yet tender grasp on my waist, Alexander drew me closer, sending an electrifying thrill racing down my spine. “Meet me on the roof tonight,” he murmured, his voice low and seductive, his thumb tracing delicate patterns across the soft skin of my hip. “Let’s spend the night together, lost in the stars.”
His words sent my heart fluttering, and I swallowed hard, weighing his invitation against the tangled mess of complications that surrounded our relationship. I knew I should turn him down; nothing about our situation was straightforward. Yet, deep within me, my heart was begging to say yes, to leap into the unknown and embrace whatever came next.
“I’ll meet you on the roof when the sun sets,” I whispered, leaning in to capture his lips in a deep, fervent kiss.
For a moment, he appeared taken aback by my audacity, but soon his warm hands tangled in my hair, pulling me closer as he surrendered to the kiss.
A soft moan escaped my lips as his tongue danced with mine, igniting a fire deep within me. My hands explored the sinewy strength of his arms, feeling the heat radiating from his body, as his lips pressed against mine with an urgency that demanded more.
But just as the world around us seemed to fade away, I pulled back, my heart racing with exhilaration.
With a playful smirk, I stood tall, placing my hands defiantly on my hips, a gesture of independence.
Alexander blinked, his eyes still glazed with desire, his lips swollen from our kiss. “Olivia…” he groaned, his voice thick with longing. “Get back here.”
My fingers twitched at the temptation of returning to him, but I steeled myself against the urge. It was difficult to resist when he looked so captivating, his dark hair tousled from my fingers, his eyes alight with desire. Yet, I needed to assert my strength.
After all, I had already yielded by agreeing to meet him later at the apartment. I didn’t want him to think he held the upper hand in this encounter.
I needed to remind him who truly wielded the power.
With a grin, I snatched the papers he had requested for Korbin from the desk and turned to leave his office.
“I’ll get you back for leaving me hanging here,” he called out as I walked away, his tone playfully threatening.
“I’m looking forward to it,” I shot back over my shoulder with a wink, closing the door behind me with a satisfying click.
