Chapter 234 You’re the Dumbest
“Gianna!” Maxwell was panicking. He wanted to chase after her, but he didn’t want to go
alone.
He spun around and grabbed Marcelo, trying to pull him along. “Marcelo, Gianna ran off crying. Come on, let’s check on her.”
Marcelo didn’t move an inch, rolling his eyes.
This idiot can handle his own mess. Why drag me into it?
He wasn’t lowering his IQ for this nonsense anymore. Amelia was watching, and it was already embarrassing enough.
Just as Marcelo was about to say something, he noticed Isabel stepping out of a private room.
A tall man, a head above her and looking a lot like her, followed behind.
“Isabel, what are you doing here? You can’t even handle your drinks. Why are you drinking?”
Marcelo, who had just been mocking Vincent, couldn’t resist speaking up when he saw his ex- fiancée, who was dressed lightly and casually.
“What’s it to you? We broke off the engagement ages ago. It’s none of your business.”
Isabel, who used to be soft–spoken, had toughened up a lot since hanging out with Amelia.
“Amelia, when did you get here? If I’d known, I would’ve asked you to join us for a drink.”
Spotting Amelia watching nearby, Isabel instantly softened and smiled warmly.
“I’d love to, but probably not the best time. Maybe next time,” Amelia replied, hinting at the awkward vibes.
Isabel got it immediately. Looking around at the familiar faces, it was no wonder Amelia didn’t want to drink. It had clearly been a rough day for everyone.
“Even though we’re no longer engaged, I can’t just ignore you. This isn’t like you. Amelia has truly been a bad influence!”
Marcelo, flustered, instinctively tried to pin the blame on Amelia.
But as soon as he said that, he regretted it.
Before he could explain, Isabel snapped back, “What does Amelia have to do with it? You’re useless yourself, and you blame your sister? You’re so shameless!”

“I” Marcelo was mad and nervous. Before he could say more, someone else interrupted.
“Isabel, don’t waste your breath on him. Come home with me. Stay away from this scumbag.”
It was the man standing next to her–her elder brother, the eldest son of the Bluefields.
“I bet she’s just trying to show you how awesome her life has been since breaking up with you. Also, we’re not even treating Gianna badly. Does only her brother count as a good brother?”
