Regina’s slender, fair hands gently lifted the crystal wine glass she had carefully prepared in advance. The glass shimmered under the lights, casting a beautiful luster.
She dipped her head ever so slightly, gazing up at Raymond with those lovely, tender eyes. Even in that fleeting glance, it was clear how much affection she held for him.
With the way she blushed and acted, it was obvious what was on her mind.
Raymond understood at once. His gaze softened, love and desire plain in his possessiveness in that burning look was impossible to hide.

But not long after they entered the bedroom, Raymond collapsed right onto the bed.
He didn’t even realize he’d passed out, because in his mind, the night with her just kept going, everything unfinished still playing out in his dreams.

At that moment, Regina’s true feelings showed, disdain and annoyance written all over her face.
Her heart had never truly been with him, but for now, she was still his woman.
To keep him from getting suspicious and to keep up appearances, Regina had gotten her hands on a special love drug from that man.
It made anyone who drank it fall into a deep sleep for about an hour.
Even after passing out, the “victim” would continue to dream, convinced the act of intimacy was still unfolding in their dreams.
