Chapter 343 Regina’s Hospital Visit
“That’s very thoughtful of you. On behalf of our family, thank you”
Miguel was calm as always. He spoke up right away, thanking her for his mom and sister.
Just then, the ever-busy Raymond finally arrived.
“Is Gianna alright?”
His tone was calm, almost like he wasn’t all that concerned about his daughter’s injuries.
“Honey, you’re finally here. Look at Gianna-if it weren’t for her, I’d be the one hurt.”
“She’s been so brave and selfless. You should give her an apartment or a shop. Our sweet girl deserves it!”
Emery pulled on his arm and acted cute and bossy at the same time. You could tell she was usually spoiled by her husband.
“Mm.” Raymond nodded dismissively, then couldn’t help adding, “You think houses are cheap? You can’t just say it and boom, done.”
He walked over to Gianna and asked how she was doing-it felt partly like a routine check, partly like real
concern.
His vague tone made it hard to tell what he really thought.
Just then, he noticed someone else in the room and looked over.
“That’s a farmer from near the Nygard Group’s medicinal plantation base. Gianna used to help out there. She’s close with them.
“Gianna is such a kind kid. That’s why they came all this way to visit her.”
Emery noticed Raymond was curious about who that woman was, so she happily explained it to him.
Raymond finally got a clear look. It was Regina!
His usually calm eyes showed a quick flash of shock. It was so fast that nobody else noticed.
He never thought she would appear here like this.
“Hello, Mr. Nygard.” Regina acted like she didn’t know him.
But when nobody was watching, she kept giving him flirty looks.
Raymond obviously saw it, but since Emery and the kids were here, he couldn’t show anything. He only nodded.
His attitude suddenly changed. He became much warmer toward Gianna and immediately agreed to Emery’s earlier suggestion.
“You’re right. Gianna really did a huge favor for us this time. She deserves a reward.

“When we get back, I’ll transfer a few of my commercial properties to her name.”
When Gianna heard that, she was super excited, but she didn’t show it.
Instead, she waved her hand humbly. “I just did what anyone would do. I don’t need a reward.”
“No way, I can’t let you get hurt for nothing.”
Clueless as ever, Emery foolishly chimed in, “See? Your dad’s giving it to you. Just take it.”
“Uh, okay. Thank you, Dad.” Gianna stopped refusing and answered sweetly.
Regina didn’t notice Raymond’s strange reaction at first.
Her attention was on how Emery was acting cute and bossy with him earlier.
That shameless bitch! How dare she act like that in front of the kids and a stranger!
Regina felt upset inside.
It wasn’t like she had real feelings for Raymond; her heart belonged to one man only.
But after “occupying” him for so many years, even without love, she had strong possessiveness.
She felt like Raymond should only spoil her and only listen to her.
In the past, she never saw it, so it didn’t bother her. But seeing it with her own eyes? She wanted to rip that slut apart on the spot.
Still, reason won out. She kept her cool.
In the end, Raymond didn’t take her home himself. He didn’t dare. He took Emery home instead.
Regina held her anger in, then finally called Raymond at the right moment.
“Raymond, come over tonight? I saw how loving you were with your wife today, and it hurt me.”
She pitched her voice just right-the kind that could melt any man.
Raymond’s expression didn’t change, but she couldn’t see his face anyway.
