After I Stopped Loving Him novel Chapter 183

“It really has been a while, Linda. You look even more gorgeous than before. Every time I see you, you just light up the room.”

Linda’s confidence and sharp wit had always been exactly his style.

“Thanks for the flattery. Mr. Main, I’m surprised to see you in Cabinda without your usual arm candy.”

Even though they lived in different cities, their business worlds often crossed paths. Linda had heard plenty about Dylan’s reputation, and she’d seen it for herself. Whenever he came to town for a deal, he was always surrounded by beautiful young women, never with the same girlfriend twice. Every one of them was stunning, slim, and barely into her twenties.

Douglas used to joke behind Dylan’s back that he was just an old guy chasing after fresh young things, and he’d warned Linda more than once not to get swept up by Dylan’s good looks. Linda always laughed it off, insisting she’d never marry a womanizer like Dylan Main. Her man had to be hers, and hers alone. If another woman had touched him, she wanted nothing to do with him. She thought Dylan was dirty, considering how many women he’d been with. No way she could ever like someone like that.

On the other hand, Ethan’s sister seemed to have fallen for Dylan the moment she saw him. The upper-class social scene was so small that no secret ever stayed hidden for long.

Dylan grinned. “Linda, I’m single now. Do you know any nice girls you could introduce me to?”

Linda didn’t hesitate. “All the women I know are good girls, Dylan. You should leave them alone. Go find someone who only cares about your money and your connections.”

“My family keeps pushing me to settle down. I keep saying I’m not ready, but the nagging never stops. Maybe I’ll have to give in eventually.”
