Aiden Finnegan the Alchemist in Delcord novel Chapter 126

"What did you say?" The aristocrat asked, expressing displeasure upon hearing the words.

Reece also looked at Aiden with a puzzled expression. The aristocrat had a healthy complexion, clearly someone who took good care of themselves. So, he couldn't understand why Aiden said her condition was tricky.

"You're not trying to deceive me, are you?" The aristocrat said suspiciously.

In society, many irresponsible doctors often exaggerated a patient's condition, and sometimes the illness wasn't as severe as claimed, with patients being scared into illness by the doctors themselves.

Aiden, however, returned to the consultation table and said, "You often break into a sweat between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. In severe cases, you even need to drink water to replenish yourself."

"How do you know?" The aristocrat asked, looking at Aiden in shock.

Reece, seeing the expression on the aristocrat's face, knew that Aiden was right. Even he hadn't noticed it earlier. He hurriedly said, "This is the owner of our medical center and also the best doctor here."

Upon hearing this, the aristocrat approached the consultation table and asked, "Young man, how did you figure it out?"

"Have a seat." Aiden motioned for the aristocrat to sit.

Then, Aiden glanced at the aristocrat's complexion and said, "If your skin goes without hydration for more than two days, it will feel dry. If it goes without hydration for more than three days, you'll experience flaking. Am I right?"

"You're absolutely right!" She nodded hastily. "What is the reason for this, Doctor?"

"This condition shouldn't have lasted long, around a year or so," Aiden continued.

The aristocrat nodded in affirmation. "Yes, it's been about a year. My skin started feeling dry frequently, and initially, I thought it was due to age. So, I often went to the beauty salon, which worked at the beginning but later became ineffective."

"So, you began taking herbal baths," Aiden added.

The aristocrat, hearing this, showed a hint of joy on her face, realizing she had encountered a skilled doctor. She hurriedly said, "Yes, I did try herbal baths, and it improved a lot."

"Give me your hand." Aiden motioned for the aristocrat to place her hand on the consultation table. Then, he used three fingers to check her pulse.

Reece and Helena, along with Angelina, stood beside them, all wearing curious expressions. They also wanted to know why Aiden said the aristocrat's condition was tricky.

After a moment, Aiden frowned and said, "If you had delayed seeking medical attention a bit longer, your body would have suffered irreversible damage."

"What? Is it that serious?" The aristocrat's face changed upon hearing this, expressing surprise.

"What you have is called dehydration syndrome. Actually, treating it is not difficult, but the problem lies in the herbal baths you used before, which were not targeted correctly. It worsened your condition. If it continues, within less than a year, your skin will develop wrinkles three times faster than normal aging." Aiden frowned as he explained.

The aristocrat still seemed uncertain and asked, "Doctor, are you serious? I'm suffering only from a headache today, but it's not because of this condition. I thought I have been doing quite well lately."

Aiden smiled and said, "I've said what I needed to. Whether you believe it or not, it's up to you."

"No, doctor, you misunderstood. I'm just a bit shocked." The aristocrat hurriedly explained. "Can my condition still be treated?"

"Endure it. You can go to the restroom to detoxify shortly." Aiden said calmly.

After a moment, the aristocrat, blushing, said, "Doctor, I… I need to use the restroom."

Aiden nodded and removed the golden needles from her lower back. He then turned to Helena, saying, "Helena, take her to the restroom."

As Helena led the aristocrat to the restroom, Angelina asked curiously, "Aiden, did you really determine her illness just by looking at her face?"

However, Reece shook his head. "Mr. Finnegan is being modest. Achieving precision in observation is the most demanding skill for a practitioner of traditional medicine. Mr. Finnegan, have you reached the level of divination?"

"Yes." Aiden nodded.

Upon hearing this, Reece gasped, "You truly are remarkable, Mr. Finnegan!"

Angelina, however, was a bit puzzled and asked, "What are you talking about? What is this divination?"

"Is it really that impressive?" Angelina said in amazement.
