Harvey gently tapped on the door before entering Angelina's room.
Seated on the edge of her bed, Harvey placed a comforting hand on her shoulder and said, "Angelina, don't be angry. You know how your mother is. She hasn't changed all these years."
"I know, but Dad, Aiden is different now. If Mom keeps treating him like this, he might eventually lose his temper. What should I do then? I'm afraid Mom won't be able to handle the consequences," Angelina turned around and expressed her concerns.
Harvey smiled and reassured her, "No, that won't happen. I understand Addie's character."
"Dad, Aiden has been with us for three years, and you're the only one who hasn't made any sarcastic remarks about him. Did Grandpa say anything to you?" Angelina asked, puzzled.
However, Harvey shook his head and replied, "Your grandfather left so suddenly and didn't have time to explain anything. He simply asked me to treat Aiden well and passed away."
"Dad, why do you trust Aiden then?" Angelina inquired once again.
Harvey looked at Angelina with a loving smile and explained, "His eyes. Aiden looks at you differently. You have many suitors, but their eyes are filled with greed when they look at you. Only Aiden's eyes are filled with love."
"If only I had noticed earlier, I neglected him," Angelina murmured regretfully.
After shaking his head, Harvey smiled and encouraged her, "It's not too late now. Do you know why I didn't chase after Aiden when he left?"
"Why?" Angelina asked, still confused.
"It's because only by being apart can we realize each other's importance," Harvey explained with a smile.
Angelina instantly understood the meaning behind her father's words and nodded.

After informing Aiden that he had to leave the medical center for a while, Nameless departed.
Aiden was now alone in the spacious medical center and was considering going out for a meal when two young women entered.
Upon seeing them, Aiden exclaimed in surprise, "Dolly, why are you here?"
"Aiden? What are you doing here?" one of the young women asked, also looking surprised.
The young woman was Dolly Cubb, Janice's youngest daughter. She was only twenty years old and still in college. Moreover, she was the only person who considered Aiden as family.
Seeing Dolly at the medical center, Aiden quickly stood up and asked with concern, "Are you feeling unwell?"
"No, Aiden. I'm here with my classmate. She's not feeling well. Why are you here? Are you here for a check-up, too?" Dolly explained.
Relieved that Dolly was fine, Aiden smiled faintly and replied, "This is my medical center."
"Your medical center? Aiden, when did you become a doctor?" Dolly was shocked to hear that. Though she knew Aiden well, she had never heard about him having any medical skills during the three years he lived with the Gray Family.
Aiden waved his hand and said, "It's a long story. What's wrong with your classmate?"
Upon hearing that, Dolly pointed to the other young woman and said, "Sally is feeling unwell. She has been vomiting and feeling dizzy these past few days."
Aiden looked at the young woman called Sally and carefully observed her. Then, his heart sank.
Sally had heard about Aiden from Dolly, so when she saw Aiden, she reluctantly suggested, "Dolly, how about we go to another medical center?"
Knowing well that she thought he was too young and didn't believe in his medical skills, Aiden then inquired, "How long has it been since your last menstrual cycle?"
"What?" Sally was immediately taken aback and looked at Aiden, asking, "How did you know?"
"I am a doctor," Aiden claimed casually, then pointed to the chair in front of the consultation desk and said, "Please have a seat and extend your hand."
Sally sat down in the chair and hesitantly extended her hand.
Observing her actions, Aiden calmly reassured, "There's no need to be shy. I am a doctor, so you can confide in me. Besides, I already have a basic understanding of your situation. Reading your pulse is just a confirmation."
"You already know what's wrong with me?" Sally looked at Aiden in surprise once again.

"Sally, did you agree to date him?" Dolly couldn't believe it.
Sally nodded without speaking.
"What's the plan now?" Aiden looked at Sally and asked.
With a determined expression, Sally announced, "I want to keep the baby."
"Have you gone insane, Sally?" Dolly exclaimed. "Don't you know what kind of person Brody is?"
"I know, but the child is innocent," Sally stubbornly replied.

"Being unmarried and pregnant, I may never find someone who loves me again. The hardest part is that I have to raise the child alone," Sally replied.
Aiden calmly added, "You have overlooked one crucial issue."
Sally looked up at Aiden, puzzled.
"It's the gossip and rumors that you will have to endure. Sometimes, rumors can even be deadly," Aiden said calmly. "Are you still determined to keep the baby?"

Aiden nodded, feeling a newfound admiration for Sally. She was a woman with courage and responsibility.
"I'm going to find Brody!" Dolly suddenly exclaimed angrily.
However, Sally quickly grabbed her and said, "Dolly, it's useless. I told him when I missed my period, and he gave me a credit card."
"That jerk!" Dolly cursed angrily.
