The beautiful young lady turned to the salesperson and suggested, "Let her try it first. I'll explore other options."

Upon hearing this, the salesperson quickly smiled and responded, "Thank you, madam."

The salesperson then approached Linda, handing her the jade bracelet while offering, "Madam, please feel free to try it on."

"Hmph!" Linda scrutinized the jade bracelet, admiring its quality. The salesperson offered assistance when she was about to put it on.

"Madam, allow me to help you try it on," the salesperson politely suggested.

"Are you looking down on me? I can put it on myself!" Linda growled, displeased with the implied assistance.

The beautiful young lady couldn't help but burst into laughter, sensing that Linda might be unfamiliar with high-end jewelry stores.

"I'm sorry, madam. Please don't misunderstand. Our store is committed to providing exceptional service, and I want to assist you," the salesperson quickly clarified.

Linda was not impressed with the salesperson's attitude and responded, "Exceptional service? You think less of me!"

"I am the daughter-in-law of the Gray Family, and I can buy ten stores if I want to. Don't think your store is upscale!" Linda tapped the jade bracelet on the glass counter to emphasize her point.

The salesperson's eyes betrayed a hint of panic as she saw Linda’s actions. She hastily warned, "Madam, this jade bracelet is precious. Please stop doing that!"

However, Linda continued tapping on the glass counter and boasted, "Who cares?"

Suddenly, the jade bracelet shattered into several pieces, shocking Linda and terrifying the salesperson. The scene surprised the beautiful young lady, but she quickly composed herself and was curious to see how Linda would handle it.

Linda sneered as she headed towards the exit, "What a lousy jade bracelet. It must be fake. I won't buy counterfeit goods from this store. I'm leaving."

Yet, the salesperson stopped Linda and nervously interjected, "Madam, you broke the jade bracelet. Per our store policy, you must compensate for the loss before leaving."

The salesperson cursed Linda internally, Why would someone like you act this way? If you don't compensate for it, even if we pooled all our wages together, it wouldn't be enough to cover the cost of the jade bracelet!

Linda scoffed, "Are you kidding me? You want me to pay for this piece of junk? It's fake, and you're trying to extort money!"

Ignoring the salesperson's request for compensation, Linda tried to leave, creating a disturbance and drawing the attention of other customers in the jade store.

At the same time, the security guard approached and asked, "What's going on?"

From Linda's perspective, the jade bracelet's value was only a few thousand, like a minor setback in a poker game. Yet, deep down, she cursed her unlucky day.

The salesperson took the bank card, saying, "One moment, madam."

After quickly processing the payment at the front desk, the salesperson returned to the counter and informed Linda, "Madam, there are insufficient funds in your card."

"How is that possible? There's over 10,000 on my card!" Linda exclaimed in disbelief upon hearing about the insufficient funds.

Upon hearing this, the salesperson looked pained and informed her, "Madam, the price of this jade bracelet is 84,200."

Linda almost fainted upon hearing this and exclaimed loudly, "What? 84,200 for this small piece? This is a scam! I'm going to call the police! I'm going to call the police! This is fraud!"

The stunning young lady sneered and retorted, "You're the first one to claim that the items here are fake and accuse Webb Corporation jade store of fraud!" She signaled to the security guard, who promptly called the police.
