The beautiful young lady sneered, catching the attention of the police officer. He frowned and said, "We'll have to take you back to the station."

Faced with the possibility of being taken to the police station, Linda became scared and offered to compensate. She pleaded with the police officer, "Please don't arrest me. My son-in-law owns a medical center on Vermilion Avenue. I can compensate for the jade bracelet through him."

She quickly retrieved Aiden's number from her phone and handed it to the police officer, who dialed it without hesitation.

Meanwhile, Aiden was lounging in a recliner at the medical center, engrossed in a medical book. Suddenly, he heard his phone ringing and saw Linda's name on the screen. Without hesitation, he immediately ended the call.

The police officer noticed the rejected call and frowned. He declared, "The call was hung up. You better come with us to the police station for now."

"How dare he hang up? I'll call him!" Linda snatched the phone and redialed Aiden.

The phone rang again, and Aiden looked at it momentarily before finally answering.

"What's the matter?" Aiden asked calmly.

When Linda heard him answer the call, she quickly told the police officer, "See, he answered!"

Frowning, the police officer took the call and said, "I'm a police officer from the Riverside District in Keyland. Do you know Linda Graham?"

Upon hearing the voice on the other end of the line, Aiden paused momentarily before responding, "Yes, I do. Has something happened to her?"

The police officer briefly recounted the events, causing Aiden to become furious. "How dare she use my medical center to pay her debts?"

After hanging up the phone, Aiden considered visiting Linda himself. Despite initially reaching for his car keys, he changed his mind and opted for a cab to the shopping mall.

While in the cab, Aiden called Angelina. "Angelina, Mom smashed an 84,200 jade bracelet at the mall. The police officer is already there, and I'm on my way."

"What?" Angelina exclaimed in shock, quickly dressing before heading downstairs.

"We'll meet there," Aiden conveyed before ending the call.

Angelina arrived downstairs and urgently informed Harvey, "Dad, Mom broke someone's jade bracelet worth over 80,000 at the mall!"

Without time for details, Harvey hastily dressed and left the house with Angelina.

Meanwhile, Linda was infuriated by Aiden's dismissal. She exclaimed, "How dare that good-for-nothing not care about my life or death! I'll take you all to find him! You can use his medical center as compensation."

Growing impatient, the police officer questioned Linda, "Hold on, why does the broken jade bracelet have to do with him? Don't cause trouble here. If you don't have money, come with us to the police station and wait for your family to arrive."

The mention of the police station sent Linda into a panic. In desperation, she lay on the ground and shouted, "This store is a scam! They are trying to scam me!"

"Get up, or I'll have to use force!" the police officer warned.

Yet, Linda continued to ignore the authority, feigning discomfort. "I have a heart condition. I'm feeling unwell."

Simultaneously, Angelina and Harvey arrived and found Linda lying on the ground. Angelina was confused by the sight and asked, "Mom, what happened to you?"

Linda was surprised to see Angelina and immediately sat up, asking, "Why are you here?"

Angelina frowned and explained, "Aiden called me to say that you broke someone's jade bracelet, and they demanded compensation. Dad and I rushed over."

She thought to herself, I have around 20,000 in my bank account. If things don't work out, I can borrow a hundred thousand from Aiden temporarily and repay him later.

"It's alright. Let them compensate based on the purchase price," the beautiful young lady said with a smile. "Consider it a gesture for the most beautiful woman in Keyland."

"Excuse me, do you know me?" Angelina turned around and asked anxiously.

"I'm from the Owen Family. I saw you at the Gray Enterprise press conference before. At that time, you were still the CEO of Gray Enterprise," the beautiful young lady explained with a smile.

Angelina nodded and replied, "Thank you. I apologize for any inconvenience."

The lady reassured her, "It's not a big deal, just that your mother surprised me."

The salesperson quickly acknowledged, "Yes, Madam." Then, she introduced Angelina, "This is Mrs. Victoria Sinclair, the wife of the general manager of Webb Corporation's jade division."

Angelina politely greeted Victoria, "Nice to meet you."

Just then, Aiden arrived at the jade store. Linda's demeanor quickly changed to fury as she saw him. She seethed with inward frustration. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be in this mess—arguing with Angelina and Harvey, coming to the mall, and breaking that lousy jade bracelet. It's all because of that worthless person!

"Finally, you're here!" Linda growled, expressing her frustration towards Aiden.

Aiden frowned and responded, "I rushed over as soon as I received a phone call."

"Worthless person, how dare you tell Angelina! Since you're here, compensate them with your medical center," Linda demanded.
