"I'm your mother-in-law, and you are benefiting from the Gray Family's resources, so you should be the one to compensate," Linda exclaimed loudly to Aiden.
Aiden couldn't help but laugh at Linda's words and replied, "What kind of logic is that? Why should I compensate just because you caused trouble?"
As Linda's words echoed, the people around them started pointing and whispering. Feeling embarrassed, Harvey scolded Linda, "Enough!"
"Why are you shouting at me? What did I say wrong? It's the truth!" Linda retorted.
Angelina hurriedly grabbed her and warned, "Mom, stop the nonsense." Then, she pleaded with Aiden, "Can you lend me the hundred thousand?"
Aiden chuckled and replied, "I don't need to lend it to you. It was already meant for you."
Victoria observed the young man before her, feeling surprised. She mused, Oh, it turns out he is Angelina's useless husband.
Angelina's marriage to Aiden caused a stir in Keyland, leaving everyone astonished. Everyone commented that they were an unparalleled couple.
Victoria couldn't help but notice that Aiden's behavior towards Angelina completely differed from how he behaved towards others. This left her puzzled, and she wondered, Why is he treating them differently? He deals harshly with troublemaker Linda but treats Angelina with the utmost care and affection.
"Lending? That was originally meant for the Gray Family!" Linda snorted coldly.
Angelina looked at Linda with a face full of shame and stated, "Mom, please stop. It's your fault that we're in this situation. Don't you think it's embarrassing enough?"
"Embarrassing? Now you realize that it's embarrassing? If it weren't for you marrying him, would our family be in this situation? How can we not even come up with 80,000?" Linda glared at Aiden with resentment.
Aiden sneered at her words and showed no interest in speaking to Linda.
"Mom, what does Aiden have to do with this? Let's discuss it later at home," Angelina remarked with a cold expression. She sensed that the entire Keyland would know about her mother's situation tomorrow.
As Angelina looked on helplessly, Aiden turned to the salesperson and asked, "How much does it cost?"
He didn't want to embarrass himself with Linda here, so he handed his bank card to the salesperson.
The salesperson informed, "Sir, our Madam has already instructed us to charge the purchase price."
Upon hearing this, Aiden smiled at Victoria, nodding in appreciation. "Thank you!"
Victoria acknowledged his gratitude.
"Aiden, that's 80,000. You don't have enough money in your bank account, and I can't use your money," Angelina said in a hurry, noticing Aiden take out his card.
The salesperson looked disappointed and wondered if it was another case of insufficient funds in the bank account.
As the salesperson looked at him confused, Aiden smiled and reassured her, "Don't worry, there is enough money in my bank account."
The salesperson rushed to the front desk to process the payment.
Aiden then turned to Angelina and gave her a comforting look.
At that moment, a middle-aged man entered the jade store and approached Victoria, asking, "Have you made your selection?"
This unexpected act left everyone in the store shocked! As the customers observed the young man in front of them, they couldn't help but speculate. When he entered the jade store earlier, his mother-in-law scolded him. His home situation must be worse since his mother-in-law is unreasonable.
Why else would the eldest son of the Owen Family be so respectful towards him and even declare that he doesn't need to pay here?
Victoria was once again astonished by Aiden. She mused, It turns out this young man who keeps getting scolded by his mother-in-law is the miraculous doctor who cured my husband.

After hearing Gabriel's words, Victoria quickly responded, "I already know about it. Dr. Finnegan is truly amazing!" She then proceeded to inform Gabriel about Linda smashing the jade bracelet.
Listening to her explanation, Gabriel laughed and stated, "Oh, that's what it is. Dr. Finnegan, take your card back. Even if you destroy this jade store, I won't accept your money."
Then, he turned to Linda and assured her, "Madam, don't worry. It's just a jade bracelet. Feel free to browse my jade store and choose whichever you like."
Furthermore, Gabriel instructed the salesperson, "Here's how we'll handle it. Don't worry, I'll speak with your manager later. The broken jade bracelet and the new one will be included in your KPI."
The salesperson looked at Gabriel in disbelief and stammered, "Uhm... Mr. Owen..."
"Help her pick another jade bracelet. I need to talk to Dr. Finnegan," Gabriel instructed, dismissing the salesperson.
The salesperson immediately went to look for Linda with a delightful expression.

"Look at how polite Mr. Owen is towards him."
"We truly underestimated him. This young man is extraordinary!"
