"This is Goodwin Corp, not Quinn Group. You can't touch us here!" someone snapped back at Johnny.

Johnny snickered and said, "As if it makes a difference! Everyone knows that your Mr. Goodwin only listens to Maddie. All it takes to fire you is just a word from her."

That statement felt like a chokehold on all of the staff members there. Before anyone could say anything further, Madison berated, "Johnny York, shut your mouth!"

She emerged from behind the group, her expression darkened with rage burning in her eyes.

Johnny, on the other hand, was delighted to see Madison. "Maddie, you'd finally see me."

He tried approaching Madison, but she raised her hand to stop him before he could come any closer to her. "Don't you come here!"

"Maddie…" He looked at her in anguish.

Madison snapped, "Watch your tone. We're no longer together. Call me Ms. Quinn."

Then, ignoring Johnny's ugly reaction, she turned to look at the Goodwin Corp staff members and instructed, "Please clean this place up and calculate the damages. Get the finance department to send me a bill."
