Hearing that Johnny hadn't gotten Madison to forgive him, Kaitlyn cursed him under her breath for being so useless.
However, seeing how unhappy he was, she took a deep breath and asked patiently, "Why didn't Madison forgive you? Tell me—what did you two talk about?"
"What else? I followed your script and apologized to her."
Johnny tugged at his hair irritably, saying with a frown, "I really don't know what's gotten into her lately. It's like she suddenly wised up and won't be easily fooled."
Kaitlyn also thought about how much Madison had changed over the past few days, furrowing her brows tightly. However, she refused to believe that Madison had moved on from Johnny.
"Could we have pressured her too much the past few times? Is that why she started to rebel?" Kaitlyn looked at Johnny.
He thought for a while. Kaitlyn's theory sounded plausible. "What are we going to do now? Are we just going to let her slip out of our control?"
Kaitlyn shook her head without hesitation. "No. She must stay under our control. We'll try to win her back."
"How? She doesn't even want to see me."
"If she doesn't want to see you, that means she's still mad. After all, she did catch us in bed the other day. Anyone in her position would be angry." Kaitlyn looked calmly at the annoyed Johnny, who did not respond.
She continued, "Madison used to love you so much. We may have crossed a line this time, but as long as you continue pursuing her, she'll cave in. You guys have been together for a few years. She couldn't have moved on so quickly."
Johnny thought what Kaitlyn said made sense. After all, women were terrified of being harassed. All he needed to do was pester Madison a few times, and he was certain she would give in!
